The rooms doors had marks on them looks like from the baggage cart, the doors need to be painted. The carpet is worn and should be replaced, hallway and room, there's a train that goes by all hours of the night.

The facilities are dated and when we got to our room there was a bug on our bed and a bug on our curtains. We looked under the mattresses and didn’t see any bed bugs so we let it be. Then we went to the pool where the hot tub is just a giant dangerous hole. There were a group of people drinking next to the pool. Then one of the guys that had been drinking a while got in the pool, stood in the corner for about 2-4 minutes and then hopped out. If you’re going to get in the pool just to pee in it then go inside. Got my kids and went to give them a shower. When we got to the room the shower had no hot water. So if you’re looking for a dingy hotel with a cold shower, it’ll be right up your alley.

I hosted Thanksgivings for my family and we discovered that the dishwasher did not work and the maintenance technician was unable to repair it. The street noise was very loud. It was not a pleasant stay.

There was make-up on one of the pillows, but I bring my own sheets and stuff. Other than that, everything was great.

the hotel was old and outdated. The bathrooms are in need of updating and so does the outside of the building. I didn't feel that it was too clean. it was noisy due to folks next to me although the staff was kind and did make a visit to the room to ask them to tone it down. Ultimately, they credited my room but i will most likely not stay there again.

GREAT ROOM DESIGN AND LAYOUT. VERY COURTEOUS STAFF.

nice place to stay close to my mother's house. quiet although it's right by interstate.

I had problems with the manager. It was a clean place but the are deceiving.

I booked a room with a KING bed, sitting area with sofa bed, kitchen, and TWO televisions. The room I got had a QUEEN bed and only ONE television. Not what I paid for or expected.

Great hotel with large room for my family of 4, great breakfast, and service. I will definitely be staying again!!!

I love coming to Monroe, the people are friendly, the staff was great. Thanks for a great stay

This hotel was very nice. The room was better than what we expected and better than what the picture showed. We will stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and hot food. I would recommend anybody to stay there. Bed was very comfortable. I didn't like the trains coming through at night blowing it's horn

Friendly staff, but when I check into my room got into bed due to being sick I felt something bite my leg. So I call down in said I have bed bugs. So they was very apologetic and gave me another room. Get to that room need to lay down not feeling well jump into shower get out to get in the died up blood on sheet. Call down spoke with the general manager and said this was unacceptable. I will never stay there again. But I must say the manager and staff was pleasant.

My only real complaints here are in regards to location. There is a set if train tracks that appear active all times if day and night right across the street. It was mildly annoying to be woken up by a train in the middle of the night. The second minor issue was smell from what I was told was a nearby paper mill. The good thing here is the smell was NOT an issue inside the room however as soon as you stepped into the hallway it smelled like sewer gas. Overall I would say the nice staff and rooms outweigh these two minor issues and I would stay here again.

The accommodations were as expected. The rooms were fairly clean and staff was nice
