It was a good location and the staff was friendly

I went for a soccer tournament with my daughter. The beds and room itself were updated. You can tell the building is old from the outside and the pictures make the “breakfast room” looks a lot bigger in the pictures than it actually is. The area is a bit sketchy, a lot of homeless people and it’s not gated. Nothing happened to us, but i wouldn’t stay for more than one night. No complaints. The staff was friendly and the breakfast is basic. I’d recommend it if you need something ASAP.

Felt super dirty and uncomfortable, they need to deep clean the carpets and remodel the hotel.. not worth what we paid for.

Very noisy location. Very old needs updating. We won't be staying there again

Door does not close properly, carpet was not clean, shower temperature could not be adjusted properly and did not have pressure. However the staff was helpful and friendly. It should not belong to Best Western Group.

Your picture is deceiving. It is the building across the street. Motel personal were very pleasant anthem room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms need help! Why would a toilet be placed so that the front is only about 14 inches from the shower wall? Nice room if you don't need the toilet. I will look for other options next time.

Room was nice, clean. Mattresses a bit uncomfortable though and breakfast is continental not the full breakfast they advertised. I felt the room was overpriced at $92 for what we received.

This is a good value for a place to crash one night. Staff members were nice and allowed late check out. Try to avoid the west side of the building it can get a little warm in the room.

Love this place it's hidden in downtown Modesto so it's very peaceful

It was a nice room...updated furniture...Decent location...

Quite, nice location and a staff that was very helpful and pleasant.

This hotel have clean and nice staff, comfortable and convince. I will visit again in next trip.

Close location for business appointment. Great breakfast before we left.

The stay was fine except the plug used for the fridge and microwave was unplugged so the fridge wasn't cold. Seems it was on a power strip and the only place to plug it was where the hairdryer is so...hairdryer or fridge?

The staff was very nice and knowledgeable, the rates were reasonable. The rooms were a bit tired but clean. I loved that it was as smoke free hotel. The reason I did not rate it higher was the noise not from the street but the parking lot. It seems that the smokers all congregate in the central parking lot at all hours and the hotel did not stop this

Stayed for one night, the room was clean but a little loud. They need to renovate the bathroom.

Slept like a log. The room was very nice and clean.

Very thin floors. You can here the up stairs guest walking. Full breakfast was lacking.

Hotel was conveniently located and priced right. It had some drawbacks: 1. Toilet too close to shower. Had to sit on it sideways due to no leg room. 2.Ice machine didn't work. 3. Rooms were dated and not very well sound proofed 4. Showers did not appear to get regular cleanings. The staff was generally helpful and nice.

The hotel was centrally located. I was a short drive away from the friend I was visiting, and the place I ate dinner. Found no problems with the room, or the staff. For others, the only problem I could forsee is the hotel being close to train tracks, and a fire station.
