So, the place is supposed to have "suites" and to me, that means a door to a bedroom separate from the living area. That's not what we got, we got a larger room with a couch that folds out. This is fine if it is listed properly. If you have children, as I do, this is an issue and it's misleading.

The Staff at a Hotel or Resort always sets the mood and how your stay will go. Chandler, the first Staff Member I met at check in deserves the 5 stars for the whole place! The entire staff was friendly and efficient, but Chandler was extra helpful. Breakfast was really well done and all the options anyone could want, no matter your spectrum of diet. Hot protein options, as well as fruits, yogurts, hot waffles, cereals, breads etc. Juices, coffee. I enjoyed my stay completely and even returned for a day a week later at end of my trip because the fine service drew me back to feel pampered at the end of my trip to LA.

Driving back from SD headed home to Simi valley and decided to relax and stay the night here. So lucky we found this place. The room was exactly what we wanted, spacious, clean, smell clean, quiet, clean bathroom, comfy bed and more. The lobby and staff were so kind. The pool and the sunset was so relaxing. Will keep this place in mind for next time

This is an over-hyped property that hasn't been updated since the 90s. I can't understand how their rating is so high. Bar opens at 4...restaurant closes early....rooms are blah.
