Older property - needs new flooring and please update the bathrooms already
Stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm. Good place to stay for a night or two. Everything worked. Front desk staff was courteous. Very close to the Metro. Teahouse restaurant in the same parking lot. The hot breakfast was a no-go for me, passed it altogether on day 2. You need your room key to enter the building. Seems like there are some security concerns, but we had no issues.
Not clean, domestic abuse and yelling next door so called reception to report, false alarm for fire alarm so evacuated at 4:30 am and then came back at 11:00 am to find the Cops trying to move someone from reception area. Will NOT bring staying here again. Poor quality of lodgings and service.
Needs updating for sure. Older smelly carpet. Elevators even smell ALL the time. Older bathroom, not great water pressure or lighting. Bathroom light buzzes like crazy. Housekeeper did not clean or make the beds after our first night, we were there for two. She just took used towels and left new towels(less than what she took). No vacuum, no making the bed, no cleaning the shower or the bathroom, nothing. Only good thing is the location.
Close to our appt. Just wish breakfast started at 6 instead of 7
We had a pretty alright stay at the hotel. It was nice that the lightrail was close to the hotel, but most times catching one still felt slightly inaccessible– the weather is likely at fault here. The doors to the hall were pretty light and at times the hallway was quite noisy. While the hotel was "clean" throughout our stay, it was definitely quite rundown, carpets were dirty, surfaces stained, etc. Staff at least was helpful and friendly.
To start, the front counter person said my room number out loud when there was another person in the lobby, which made me VERY uncomfortable. When we got to our room, the dead bolt did not seem to engage, so I slid the chair in front of the door. In the middle is the night the neighbors woke us up trying to open the adjoining door and we could hear everything through the wall. When I went to take a shower it took the water approximately 3 minutes to get hot and then there was next to zero water pressure. The breakfast offered a basket of over ripe bananas and clementines that no one should have been eating. The patio outside the breakfast area had old, chipping wood tables to sit at. Overall, a very bad experience.
The location was very good
The hotel was tired. In need of a refresh.
Close to the airport. Unfortunately bot real clean and people partied in the halls all night. Noisy and disappinting.
Staffs are nice. Room is clean. Breakfast is okay.
Customer service is very friendly and service is good.
it is not a clean hotel. also there isn't warm breakfast buffet.
Liked the downtown location
Disgusting
I recommend the Days Hotel by Wyndham for a Minneapolis traveler on a budget, who does not need fancy things and does not want to pay outrageous prices for parking. The staff was so kind, friendly, and professional. I felt very welcomed by them. Bed was comfortable, everything in the room was functional and met my needs. There was a fun ice cream vending machine on the floor. If you are very sensitive to old smoke smell this might not be the best choice but for me it didn't bother me after I had been in the room a few min.
Very convenient. Pet Friendly. Friendly staff. Would stay here again
