When we got back to the room after dinner there was a 4x 4 area near the hot tub going into the restroom that the floor was wet. We called management but they did not detect where the issue was from. They gave us a box fan to run to try to dry it out. They did not have another room available.

Beautiful historic Inn! Peggy was amazing and felt like a family member taking you in to her home for the night. The room was huge, and having multiple restaurants on site was very convenient. My partner and I would love to stay again the next time we can get away just the two of us.

Quaint and Modern

Enjoyed the personalized service from start to end. The room facing the river does overlook a parking lot and marina before seeing the river, but it is still pleasant. Attached restaurants were tasty. Appreciated the history and encourage you to splurge for a balcony. WIFI was strong enough to work from the room.

I picked this place for the jacuzzi tub but it was really small and only one person at a time. The shower was also reallllly small. The building is very old and shows its age but very clean. We weren't impressed for the price but it was an okay place to stay.

Perfect location, charming hospitality

This is a historical building (built during civil war) that is charming, comfy and clean. The staff were great and everything about it is easy- parking, food, coffee, ice cream, strolls outside. Perfect for my needs.

Breakfast was great. Bed was hard as a rock and in poor condition. No soap in bathroom. Water reeked of sulfur. Paid for 2 nights, but only stayed for 1 night.

We loved our stay at the Afton Inn. The employees were all so sweet and helpful! It definitely gave the vibe of a bed and breakfast, more of the homey feel. The restaurants were fun, the coffee shop had a great coffee, and the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again!
