Was a very disappointing visit. First of all, the room spelled very heavily of smoke - cigarette smoke. Which the Motel had just tried to cover up by spraying Fabreeze or something but actually just made it worse. Both my wife and I are both non smokers so when we complained they just said they had no other rooms and were very rude and seemed like they didn't care - they already had our money... We left the room, hoping that the smell would disapate over dinner but by the time we got back it was too late to complain to the lobby. We went to go to bed only to find he top blanket looking dirty so we threw that on the floor only to realise that the woollen blanket underneath actually had hard bits of something stuck to it which was pretty grosse. Not good. We had been lying in bed for a while only to find that it got worse and the electric blanket they had put on was only a single one on a queen bed so the controls were right in the same spot where my elbows/arms were lying which should of really just been normal mattress... The next morning upon checking out I tried to let other guests go before me so I didn't bad mouth the hotel infront of the other customers but instead had to tell them all the problems we'd had the night before and they just hurried us along with no apology, were quite condescending to us and seemed as though they didn't want feedback, didn't want our custom in the future and had got our money from the night before so they didn't care anymore : (

A good place to stay. Reasonable price, close to everything, clean and neat, even provide iron and ironing board in standard room. Quiet and peaceful. Cleaning staff friendly. Free wi-fi. Provides a great deal for the price.

Stayed here for one night the room was clean and modern, and the reception was pleasant although no way to call anyone to the counter such as a bell, so there was longer waiting for service at times. The bathroom although partly renovated the shower had a half meter wall you have to step over to get in and no Curtin or door to stop from getting water all over the bathroom floor, lastly on the bathroom the toilet roll was in such a spot that when you have a shower the roll gets saturated and unusable. Apart from that had a great stay here would stay again well recommended.

Econo Lodge was very clean, tidy and quiet. Has free Wifi. Tea and coffee making, with free biscuits. Has an outside pool. And a few Foxtel channels. Very close to a shopping mall with Woolworths, Big W and Cheap as Chips. Good hotel for meals close by.

We stayed here for two nights. Initially we were disappointed that we had just missed the last standard Queen room, but the Studio Apartment we booked instead was worth the extra cost. It felt like a home away from home with the extra sitting and kitchen area. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfasts were substantial and really well-cooked. Even though we didn't take advantage of the mini-bar, we noted that the prices here were not outrageous as is often the case. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to Mildura.

Spent a night at this wonderful little lodge. Very clean room, you can order breakfast but we did not. great wifi, and the owner even found a microwave for our room so that we could heat up our left over pizza. What a great help.

Economy doesn't mean missing out on anything at this lovely little motel. For a very low rate you get a lovely clean room with everything you need plus off street parking and free wifi. It's all good!

I stayed over the weekend to visit family in Mildura and I will start with the good stuff. The motel room was meticulously clean and well appointed the grounds and the pool were fabulous and this place is great value for money. I spent an afternoon with my nephews and brought them back to the motel for a swim in the pool with me. My nephews are well behaved mid teen boys and they were not disturbing the peace. After a little time spent in the pool the manager came to the pool and came across to us as aggressive and pointed out the boys were not to be in the pool as they are not guests, even though they were accompanied by myself. He cooled his tone and said the motel is liable. Now this is not a knock on the property, it is just the way we were spoken to. Had this been handled in a cool calm manner I would have still been a promoter of the business. My nephews are great boys and don't deserve an attack over a simple misunderstanding, which the fault lied with me. This was witnessed by other guests who were also a little shocked by this behaviour and also commented, that there are plenty of other options for accomodation in MDA. I certainly hope this is taken constructively as I do not believe I deserve another hot headed rant.

Intilally we booked at the motel next door but due to the party boys in the next room we were referred to the Econolodge. Although still on the main road and a bit of traffic noise, this motel was a pleasant and welcome surprise to what we were presented with next door and for only $25 more. The room was really quite large and extremely clean. With a king bed, a single bed, a comfy lounge and a really good sized flat screen tv. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. Our room opened on to the pool area, which was handy for my son. The location apart from being on a main road was great, close to a shopping centre and fast food and other restaurants. Wi-fi was free and the air con was a blessing. We would defiantly stay here again if we were passing through Mildura again. I must say I'm very thankful that the boys with the booze walked past us and into the other motel at the right time before I paid for a not so nice motel and a bad night. We found a gem.

Welcomed by the friendly owner, who proceeded to arrange a room in record time, even though I didn't have a booking. The room was at the back of the complex and therefore not very noisy. The motel is on a very busy street but was great for a stopover.
