A major concern is that this property appears to be managed remotely almost entirely through text messaging. When guests need urgent help, there is no immediate local support available. We had to wait for responses through messages while dealing with heat, confusion, luggage.
This stay was extremely disappointing, stressful, and unsafe for my family. The property was advertised as having air conditioning, but upon arrival, the AC was not working properly. The apartment was extremely hot, and the thermostat showed approximately 29–30°C indoors, even though the AC unit appeared to be set to cooling mode. The AC was blowing warm air and did not cool the apartment.
We were in Milan during an active heat warning, which made the lack of functioning air conditioning not only uncomfortable but unsafe. Despite this serious weather condition, we were placed first in one apartment with non-working AC and then moved to another apartment with the same issue. As a result, my family had to sleep in extreme indoor heat, with windows open on a ground-floor apartment, which also created a safety concern.
Before arrival, the host first told us that someone would meet us at the property to provide the keys. However, when we arrived, no one was there. Instead, we were sent confusing self-check-in instructions through a link. The address and entry instructions were unclear, and finding the exact apartment took a long time. This created unnecessary stress while traveling with family and luggage.
