On Easton's Point, Ellery House is an easy walk to the beaches. This Cape style home is a few blocks from the beach & numerous bars & restaurants, and a mile to town and all the fun activities of Newport.

There is plenty of off-street parking, a private back yard with beautiful large fenced patio (for people & your pet!), grill, and an outdoor hot & cold shower. There is A/C throughout.

Please see the calendar for current availability. Please note if you see “host fee”, VRBO is now calling any cleaning fees or Pet fees, “host fees”.

Completely separate area off back of home is sometimes owner occupied. It is a completely private, separate space. You may occasionally run into us or our 2 friendly dogs, passing through through the back yard/patio area, or in & out of the driveway, but your stay in the main house is very private.

We are a NON-smoking property, but you may smoke outside.

Past tenants testimonials:

"A beautiful, amazing retreat from the hustle of it all. I would stay here all summer if I could! The back yard is Heaven. Rebecca was an amazing host, giving herself to her work (she is a nurse) most of the time. She is there IF you should need her, but otherwise, she respects your vacation. The neighborhood is great for dog walking. Everything you could want or need is within walking distance Or just a short drive. This week was just what my soul needed. 5*****" - Tammy, MA

"Thank you, house was great. I was only slightly familiar with Newport, so i didn't realize how close the house was to everything. A big plus" - Jack M, CT

"Thank you Rebecca, for such a warm, welcoming home for us during our family vacation. & it truly felt like 'Home'! Clean, cozy & in THE most incredible location. We can't wait to return someday!!!' -Joan, CA

"Ellery House was lovely for a mid-July stay for a number of couples with kids! The neighborhood has a safe and welcoming beach vibe to it. Great restaurants nearby. The house is the perfect proximity from Easton's Beach. And we lived on the fantastic outdoor patio at the house! Rebecca was great. Communication was good. Everything was as advertised." - Mike, CT

'We can't recommend this property enough. We felt so comfortable. The house was spotless & in wonderful condition. The owners were so friendly that we felt welcome from the minute we arrived. The location couldn't be beat! & our children had so many toys, movies & outside activities to keep them busy, it was TRULY a vacation for the adults as well. AND, that hot & cold outdoor shower? HEAVEN! Thanks for everything, even all our guests over the week were SO impressed!' - from D.C.

'If you ever need anyone to give you a reference, please pass along our comments. Our wedding was made SO special knowing that our family & friends had such a beautiful, well kept place to be their home base. They were just thrilled a well. The patio was so private & fun! Not to mention the beach just a short walk away. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone. We were thrilled!' - Jack & Marlene, NYC

'This is our 3rd stay at Ellery House & we always feel so welcomed & cozy! We especially love off season, when we can enjoy the area without all the hustle & bustle. The house is in a superb location & the owner is so friendly & helpful! They even babysat for us one afternoon!'

My family had a wonderful stay at Ellery House. Rebecca is a gracious host and provided tips on places to visit both for adults and kids. The house is great for a multi-generational family like ours with lots of bedrooms, a large kitchen and living space and an enclosed patio. Another bonus - walking distance to the beach and lots of places to eat. We hope to be back!

Our group of ten adults stayed at Rebecca’s property for Memorial Day weekend. Folks had to share beds for space but that was to be expected. The property was spacious and clean, especially the backyard. The kitchen was our primary gathering place and a great size. Ubers were reliable and got us where we needed to go within about 15 min. Our host was great too as some of the group arrived early, so she was flexible with early check in and helped us coordinate that. Overall a really lovely trip, and I can’t wait to come back!

Cute House Close to Everything

The Ellery House met all of our expectations. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is located just a short walk to a beach where we were able to swim with our dogs. The heart of Newport is just a short drive away, but it was really nice to head "home" to a nice peaceful neighborhood. Rebecca was super flexible and easy to work with.
