DO NOT BOOK Terrible Experience – Unsafe Property and No Support from Host or Vrbo

I do not recommend this property or using Vrbo after this experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately concerned for our safety. There were multiple active police incidents occurring in the immediate area during our check-in, which set off red flags. Once we got inside the property, things only got worse.We found roaches inside the unit and noticed that the front door did not lock securely—completely unacceptable from a basic safety standpoint. Given these serious health and safety concerns, we made the decision not to stay at the property at all and immediately booked a hotel at our own expense.Despite clearly explaining the situation and the fact that we never stayed a single night, both the host and Vrbo refused to issue a refund. It’s extremely disappointing to see such disregard for guest safety and customer service.If you value your well-being and expect even the most basic standards of cleanliness and security, avoid this property—and think twice about booking through Vrbo.
