We arrived at 3pm to an 18 wheeler blocking the driveway across from the bridge. The hotel looked empty with no cars and the open sign was off. After closer review there was nobody and no way to reach them. We tried calling the number and reached no one. We had to drive further and book something last minute due to this unorganized situation.

The location along the river was really nice. The rooms seem in need of updating. I personally like to have coffee and tea available in my room. They did provide it but you had to go and get it

Great location and awesome setting.....right into the rock!!! It was quiet, room was comfy and staff were very pleasant. Enjoyed onsite restaurant, food was delicious!

well worn cabins but they were very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Only the basics. No microwave or coffee maker or soap.

Great use of space in a beautiful setting. Excellent proximity to Monument Valley & Navajo Nation. Restaurant could use some vegan/gluten free options.

Location was perfect! Right in the mountains. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.

over priced for room and food ac not working well parking not good

I’ve been at every single hotel in the Mexican Hat area and the San Juan Inn is simply the best choice. You won’t find mints on your pillows, room service or a free acontinental breakfast here, however, if you lower your expectations a bit, you’ll be delightfully surprised by this jewel in the desert. They have a restaurant, gift shop, mini market and coin operated laundry mat on site and you’ll also have access to the river walk. I highly recommend their big yurt for a more authentic experience. I’ll definitely be back.

The location was great, next to a canyon. Room decoration with Indian motifs was awesome

Location & friendliness of staff. Everything u need at one location

The location by the SanJuan River made this motel unique

I was charged $124.78 by Orbitz for this lodging, BUT upon check out (and I have a hard copy document of this) only $102.32 by the property itself ? That's a difference of $22.46, or almost 22% greater than the hotel property pricing that I was given. My understanding of ORBITZ is that you offer very special pricing that saves one money, as opposed to booking a hotel room direct. I will NEVER again use Orbitz and feel very cheated with your offering.

Very Basic. to expensive to the facilities you get

Mahic location overlooking the river San Juan. Unfortunately the rooms need a thorough cleaning and upgrade. The room smelled, the bathtub was smudged and the bathroom door freyed.

We were in a family vacation, just me and my 2 teens. Driving through all the endless rocks, mountains and desert. This place was essentially on the middle of nowhere on the San Juan River and nestled right up to a giant Red rock cliff. Scenery was amazing! The hotel is motel style with exterior doors. My only complaint is that the deadbolt had been removed and just the doorknob locked. As a single mom of 2 traveling, that made me a bit uncomfortable. But the character of this place was awesome! Good restaurant right on site too. Clean, comfortable, pretty quiet.
