We came with family for a soccer tournament. Condo was clean and stocked well. TV reception was poor and the TV in the great room had no color. We called management twice but didn’t hear back until Monday as we were checking out. Pool is very cold and small. But we still had fun and enjoyed our stay.

There was good reason that this rental was available for a 3 week stay last minute during high season. When we walked in the unit was very stuffy. There was an off smell caused by a dirty and putrefying garbage disposal which we fixed The unit did not appear to have been recently occupied and no one had checked it. I scrubbed out the tub before it could be used. The management did offer to send someone out to clean when I let them know it had been dirty, but I had already cleaned as I did not want to wait. They do not do anything about fire alarms chirping in the night which makes it impossible to sleep as they consider this low priority. We swapped out the batteries. In their welcome notebook they explicitly say they will not repair chirping alarms at night. They also do not change out batteries as part of routine maintenance so this is a common occurrence. I had not read about them not fixing nighttime chirping alarms and called about it (before 9pm). I hired someone to get to the alarm I could not reach and did not have a ladder for so I could sleep. Over $600 in management fees for the stay and paid for my own repair.
I have stayed in 2 other Mesquite vacation rentals and both were both less expensive and nicer. This one was way too expensive for the quality. I did upgrade them for comfortable mattresses. Also be aware that the management and taxes added a full 50% to the bill.
There is a nice park next door for dog walking. The unit was quiet and we could not hear our neighbors.
Almost everything in the unit had a price on it for replacement. They must get many bad renters which is a bit creepy. It reminded me of the rentals being mocked on Twitter.
I would not rent any unit managed by this property management company in the future.

condo unit was fine, but property on-site assigned parking (1- reserved spot per unit) might be an issue if you are traveling in a full size pickup truck - very thin spots with limited access space.
