Very beautiful location! The house was very clean and had been painted since the pictures on VRBO and it all looked great. We got to meet the groundskeeper and i wished we could have talked longer. We will be back!

Peaceful, beautiful scenery.If you enjoy wildlife this is a great place.Would recomend an suv or truck. Make sure to take whatever you need for a couple days, its a long ride out for groceries. We enjoyed the river and caught some fish. My teenagers didnt even miss their cell phones. Nice sized deck with gates to keep small children safe. If you are up for a lot of stairs Bristol Caverns is not too far away.

Cozy river cabin

Very nice, clean and quiet getaway cabin on the river. Enjoyed sitting on porch reading and listening to river. Husband enjoyed fishing down at the clean beach. Would recommend for couples or small family.

My stay was all I hoped it would be. Peaceful, good weather, quiet except for the occasional cow moo and the distant laughter of children playing across the river. Saw different kinds of wildlife, beaver, turtles, ducks and deer. And to the lady across the river who was singing, you have a beautiful voice!

My home!!!

This property/cabin was beyond perfect! Beautiful views, peaceful sounds and completely private and secluded. We fell in love with every part of it as well as the surrounding areas. So easy to get to anything we needed or wanted and perfect if you just want to chill. I loved sitting on the porch listening to the river run by and oh my the nature wildlife!! Will definitely be booking again many times!!!

The cabin and surrounding area was amazing. A quiet retreat to escape from reality. It is remote so be prepared for it to take some time to get anywhere. The cabin was very clean, great amenities, everything was anticipated. If you are looking for a get away and not a wild and crazy night life, this is it.

Serenity

Iola Farms was the perfect place to enjoy total relaxation away from the busy world. The cottage was very clean and well appointed for cooking meals. As the listing states, Wi-Fi is available, but at a slower connection. That was exactly what we were looking for- connection in case of an emergency. The cottage sits directly above the river on a ridge. The partially covered deck was my favorite place to have morning coffee, watch herons and osprey, and just relax. The farm is absolutely gorgeous, the river a refreshing cool spot to spend an afternoon, and the solitude is unmatched. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property!

Magnificent Mendota

Had a wonderful time. Cabin was clean as a whistle, comfy, cozy with anything you could possibly need. If you're looking for a tranquil relaxing place to unwind, stay here. Fishing was great, and the river was refreshingly cool. The swinging bridge is just a short trip (from the driveway turn left ... go to the sharp curve, park along the road, the trail to the left brings you right to the bridge) Looking forward to my next visit

Perfect place to relax!

Quiet. Loads of it! Swam, fished, floated the river from property line to property line (took 3hrs) had a blast. Great place to disconnect AND reconnect with family and friends. Reading down by the river was a definite plus as well. We will be back

Awesome and Unique

Such a cute and quaint cabin to be in! We loved the stay and the cows were a huge plus! I would just note that it is better to have a higher sitting car to come in and out! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Peaceful Getaway

The property is absolutely beautiful and just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed fishing and tubing on the river during the day and hanging by the fire pit at night. If you are looking for rest and relation mixed with nature this rental is the perfect.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary. We brought our two old dogs. The space was cozy and clean and we all enjoyed the trip. We explored the property and my husband fished. We saw deer and an eagle. The property is simply gorgeous. We sat by the fire pit and listened to the river and enjoyed quiet seclusion for a few days. It was perfect!
