The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The AC was on its last leg. Everything else was fine.

Super courteous, helpful staff, good wireless, the women who worked the breakfast buffet were amazing. Only complaint was on Sunday, the day before we left nobody came to clean the room.

Great stay. 5/5 for sure. Friendly staff, huge breakfast varieties, on-point housekeeping, just an amazing experience all around.

I don't think it could have got any better. The front desk clerk who checked us in was so amazing, she could not have been more helpful. She even called us after we got in our room to make sure everything was up to our standard. And the breakfast, let me tell you. Perfect! So glad we decided to stay here. Good location, only a short drive to do the tourist things. Neighborhood was quiet.

We were at this hotel for a cross country meet in the area. It was very convenient to the area and there were many good food options in the shopping area nearby. Everything was very clean and the staff was very courteous. Wonderful breakfast with a large eating area. I would stay there again.

Good location and a variety of restaurants nearby. It has a nice breakfast selection.

Stayed five nights over Labor Day weekend. Payed something just under $80/night. Great value at that price. The included breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. Room was clean, airconditioner worked overtime, almost froze us a couple times. The exercise room was well-equipped for a smallish hotel; a couple treadmills, freeweights, a bench, and some other contraption only women use. Our single King bed room had a fridge and an extra sink outside of the bathroom. Bonus! We got a voucher for a free movie since we stayed 5 nights. Room for improvement: The room didn't have a microwave. The airconditioner was old, no digital thermostat, controlled by a colder/hotter knob on the machine itself. No safe in the room. The pool is outdoors and very small. Biggest complaint: The TV was awful. A flatscreen, yes, but small for the size of the room, slooooow as molasses when changing channels, volume, etc, and horrible picture quality. It was like trying to watch a broadcast from Mars or something. The picutre was old standard square format, stretched out to fill the widescreen and very, very low resolution so everything was grainy and blurred. The picture was bad like this on all channels and the movie we ordered with our bonus voucher. Bummer.

The gentleman (Kevin) at the front desk was so cordial and helpful. He made us feel very welcome even though it was a busy holiday weekend. We went out for a little while and when we got back to our room, there was a message from the front desk checking to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. How nice is that? No complaints from me! The hotel was in a safe and nice area in Memphis and only minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was very good with hot food both mornings!

Great staff, very very clean and quiet. I will be back in Memphis next month and will stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. There were 3 of us in a 2 double room. it worked fine for us. We were mostly out & about, but did feel comfortable while at the hotel. Breakfast was great & it was quite the convenience. We had a fridge in our room, but no microwave. Overall had a great experience &wld stay there again. Location was great as well. 15 min from downtown area, closer to plenty of food & places 2 shop.

We came to town for a family reunion. The hotel was super nice. Great staff. Clean room. A bottle of water and a sack were in the room. Other hotels I've been to will have bottled water in the room but charge you if you drink it. Little things like the free bottle of water and cheese nips make a difference. Comfy bed. No complaints. A good breakfast also

Service was great. Room was clean. The only issue is the window HVAC unit. It is loud and pulsates. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

Quiet rooms. Close to very pleasant are of Memphis

Very clean, excellent breakfast, convenient to popular attractions

I went to Memphis for the Clapton concert at the FedExForum. My friend is from Memphis and recommended this side of town for safety reasons since I was traveling alone. I loved this hotel. It was easy to find. It also was tucked out of the way for some peace and quiet, but still was close enough to the Interstate and other attractions that it was convenient. I definitely would stay here again.

[...] My wife and I were celebrating our 25th Valentine's Day together and, overall, we liked our stay at the Hampton. The hotel is quite lovely and in a wonderful location close to shopping and right next door to one of the finest Italian restaurants in the nation (Grisanti's). The staff was friendly when we arrived and we were thrilled to see the beautiful foyer and dining area. Our room looked nice enough, the desk area was a nice touch and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, it ends there. We unloaded our luggage and as I was putting away my toiletries, I noticed quite a few hairs around the sink and toilet area. That night, there was something wrong with the thermostat which made the room very warm and we had to turn on the air conditioning (it was in the 20's outside!). We liked the variety of breakfast fare but found another hair in the food! *Side note... I'm bald so I knew all this hair at the hotel wasn't mine!As we were leaving, we asked the lady at the front desk for information about booking a night every weekend since we're in town on weekends with our own business. I wondered if there was a reduced rate for such a stay. She acted like I had asked her to do something she really didn't want to do and reluctantly handed me a sales rep's business card. We may stay there again next time to give them the benefit of the doubt but unsure at this time. Based on the looks of the place and the friendly greeting by the manager when we arrived, we thought our stay would be above average but, unfortunately, it fell just below average.

This hotel has some model rooms for their 'sister' hotels. The suites were beautiful with unique furniture and a sizable bathroom. Check in was impressive. I walked into the hotel and the associate behind the desk greeted me by name (granted we were probably the last with a reservation to check in that day). A quick verification of my ID and we were on our way to a beautiful room. Unfortunately, our stay was just for one night. If I had it my way, we would have stayed a week.
