Would not stay again. Lighting was so bad in kitchen you couldn't see. The shower leaked and had to be moped up with the only bath mat provided. Only 2 towels for 2 people for 5 nights. The spare blanket was stained and had cigarette burns in it. The only positive really was the location.

It was for a night in Melbourne and the location is good. It is close to Queen Victoria Market and the closest tram stop is at Melbourne Central. We had to pay more two have 2 single beds instead of a queen. The single beds are relatively small but comfortable. The room was very clean but we did not have a view. The heating was good but it was loud. Overall, it was fine but I might choose a different place to stay in future or I may stay again if it is for a night.

We stayed here on a recent trip to Melbourne and were very disappointed with the first unit we were offered. It was dank and damp and dirty. We returned to the front desk and requested either another room or our money back. We were then shown a much nicer-looking/bigger/non-claustrophobia-inducing/cleaner apartment, which we accepted. Unfortunately, as it grew dark we discovered the lighting in the apartment was terrible, and then when we prepared to have some snacks and wine we found that the kitchen facilities were deficit. There is a stovetop but only one saucepan to use... there were very few other utensils or cooking implements supplied. We were there for five days and the apartment was not serviced at all. We were told (only after arrival) that servicing would only be once a week and if we wanted more regular servicing it would cost an extra $25 per day (note, not per service request but per day of our visit). We were also charged an extra $30 to separate the double bed into two single beds (even though this had been requested in advance). The two single beds were very narrow beds which was confusing because it was advertised as two doubles or a queen when we booked the room. Overall we were really not satisfied and would not stay here again, It's definitely the worst accommodation we have ever experienced in Melbourne.

This place was advertised as a serviced apartment, but after the first day with no servicing of the room, I checked the detail, and sure enough there is no servicing unless you stay more than 7 days. I call this misleading advertising, as this is called the "City Edge on Elizabeth Serviced Apartments". Don't be fooled. Secondly, don't expect a palace. It is called an apartment, but it is the smallest apartment known to man. No room to swing a cat. It was clean, but heating was dodgy, pillows hard, shower small and weak, chairs uncomfortable, reception couldn't provide a tax invoice, building entrance was disgracefully dirty. Bottom line this is not a good place to stay. NOT recommended.

Very cosy apartments right in the center of the city. Close to the station, tram line, restaurants and shops. Coffee easily accessible and also offered home delivery for meals. Very positive experience overall.

Allowed us to leave our luggage for free of charge in secured storage in hotel as we arrived before 2pm for check in on (23rd – 27th June, 2017 @ Room 420). We booked a Premium Studio as it looks reasonably spacious in photos. However, the actual room given was A LOT smaller than in photos. The bed was 2 single beds joined together despite our earlier request for Queen Bed - uncomfortable bed as I didn’t sleep well. There was only 1 worn out single seater sofa (with stains) and a coffee table for sitting, the lights in room are not bright, another disappointed was the shower cubicle which was very small and not sealed properly - after every shower there was a lot of water on the floor. BUT everything's there; kitchenette, washing machine, dryer, microwave, utensils, etc. I would highly recommend staying here - nearby has a lot of eatery: Korean, Japanese, Asian and 7 Eleven and will come back to CITY EDGE next time we visit Melbourne. We booked a Studio room and found it to be so small with just a bed no table or anywhere to even sit down so we paid for an upgrade to a Premium studio and that was a little better but no where near the 4 star advertised: No Duna on the bed just a couple of sheets and a blanket, Pillows with no cover, 2 gas jets but no cookware saucepans or anything to cook in ,Internet so weak it's useless ,Electrical plug outlet for kettle hidden and out of reach for kettle cord so a 4 point extension is supplies to lay on the worktop next to the sink very dangerous. Very poor TV picture, Air conditioner so noisy you cannot hear the TV or sleep with it on and it does not get warm enough anyway. We Absolutely do not recommend this apartment

I highly recommended this apartment. This is the 2nd time i booked for my coming trip. I love this apartment. The location is very good to go all the places like victoria market and melbourne central and etc. Its nearby to the tram station, easier for us to take the tram.

Room was clean. Good security in and out of premises. Great location for city shopping. Elevator lighting very dull made you feel uncomfortable to be in on your own. Comfortable clean bed. Quiet, not many street noises heard through the night.

I am staying at this apartment for 4 nights. Reception gave us 3 user name/password but completely no use as wifi is super weak or non existing at all in the room! No point telling us 24hrs wifi! 1 bedroom size is quite small.
