This is not a nice place to stay. The room was quite dirty, fridge smelt horrid even though nothing was in it, cutlery/mugs were dirty and nothing provided to wash it, very loud slamming doors that shake the whole room when you're trying to sleep. I would not recommend it.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful, no complaints there. The room was very neglected and absolutely stank of smoke and it got much worse when I turned the heater on. It was a very cold weekend so I had to use the heater but it was a choice I made reluctantly. I asked immediately if I could be moved but the motel was full and I wasn't offered a refund. There is a hotel directly opposite that I could perhaps have gone to.. My other issue is with the building I was in which is not the main building. It too is neglected but it also feels less safe than the main building. As a female staying alone I would have felt much safer in the main building. This is the second time I've stayed at the Bell Motel and my experiences have been totally different. It boils down to main building versus second neglected building .

Staff were excellent.. response to any Needs great.. including the handyman. Room had recently been upgraded with a few things needing to be finished. Cleaning is another matter. Skirting boards filthy as were new window frames. Mild around bottom of shower and between tiles in the shower. Ingrained dirt on the rear top of toilet system. Door to the room hard to open particularly for older people. Yard around and to the sides of the motel including car parkland pool need a clean up .. huge working bee required . Instructions on how to use tv etc would be convenient and a small map showing close coffee shops two within about 5 min walk and convenience store would be advantages for those guests with no car.

The carpet looked dirty and was in poor condition room service was very poor and I had to call the manager to get the room made and then it was badly done I actually saw a small roach on a bench where the microwave was housed if I had been a lady I would not have felt safe from a security point of view I will not be recommending it or would I every be staying there again
