Check in was impersonal. Room, while airy was dull, stained carpet, scratched furniture, lumpy, hard bed. Towels - soft & fluffy. Toiletries - quite nice. Was a little dated just replacing the sign would give the hotel a more inviting and newer look. The breakfast was very good. Nice walk in the woods behind the hotel and walkable to the town and the harbor

Let down by breakfast time.

Great place to stay with friendly staff. The only thing that let it down was the morning breakfast. There was a large group in just before us and we were shown to a table which was promptly cleared and cleaned for us. We then got up to get some food from the buffet. We returned to our table holding our food only to find that another waitress had seated people on our given table. We were then shown to another dirty table. Not impressed by this system of seating guests. The plates for hot food were cold meaning our food was soon cold too
