Everything stood out- the view, the details, the unique fixtures. We especially loved the rotary phone and the fireplace.The host was also extremely hospitable. We loved the expansive views of nature and the river. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed as a couple- if not our favorite.

The cottage was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. There was adequate space in the living area to spread out to play games, read, relax and eat.

Our host, David, was very responsive when messaging/calling him. The cottage was super clean and cozy. There was no television so we did a T.V. detox and played games which we brought with us. We were pleasantly surprised that was a variety of games already there. The view of the river was incredible!

Clean. Handicap friendly. Mesmerizing. Zen. Everything we needed was there (and more). Peaceful. Loved all the windows. Private. My husband and I enjoyed making up stories about the geese going up and down the river - Simple times. Highly recommend! Our only issue is we ran out of time off ;-)The pictures on line do not due the place and feeling justice

We loved this place. The check-in process and check-out was very simple and straightforward and David was accommodating to our request for a late check out. The cottage is lovely, just as advertised. The kitchen is well stocked and the space is perfect for two people. We can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect romantic getaway

Loved this beautiful riverside cottage… remote yet close to Milford and great restaurants. We danced to our vinyls, made perfect steaks on the grill, and listened to the rain while playing cards. We had cocktails on the riverside chairs and watched people float down the Delaware, and did some birdwatching from the deck. The bed was comfortable, place was clean and stylish. I would love to visit again!

The beauty of nature never fades

Luckily this cottage was available for us. This was a last minute trip & David was very accommodating to our requests. Communication was excellent. The cottage is cozy & beautifully decorated. Waking to the sounds of the River & watching the sunrise were some of my favorite moments. If you’re looking for a secluded retreat, this is it!

Simply Gorgeous!

The cabin and the view are amazing. David goes above and beyond as a host in the thoughtfulness of amenities, such as night lights, tissues, etc. Sitting by the fire by the river is so therapeutic! Beautiful hiking trails nearby as well. Overall, an excellent experience and we hope to come back some day.

EXTRAORDINARY

My wife and I were traveling back from visiting family in Pittsburgh to our home in Cape Cod. Lazy River Cottage is the mid-point. We went on VBRO to searching for a property and this one appealed to us. Wow, Wow, Wow….what a location (on the banks of the Delaware River)…it is private and tranquil. The cottage has all the modern conveniences and well appointed. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be back.
