We throughly enjoyed our little visit to the area and staying at the Carriage Inn made everything that much more memorable. The home, its interesting history, atmosphere and historic furnishings were like stepping back in time but with the modern everyday comforts. Then to top everything off it was very comfortable, warm, inviting and the hardy gourmet breakfasts were yummy and very filling. The owners/hosts were so knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. This in is located in a nice central location close to the historic town. If your fortunate to book a room here you will not be disappointed. 😉

This marvelous historical home was the best one we have experienced. Arriving after 11 pm was not a problem and was able to leave ourselves in independently. Room, bed and climate were comfortable and lovely with antiques. Breakfast was yummy and homemade! Yvonne's pumpkin nut muffin was sooooo good! Loved that the home still was in it's showy original condition with just the necessary improvements to make the stay more comfortable. They were very knowledgable about local site seeing and we felt as if we had known them for a long time! We highly recommend the Carriage Inn B&B!

The history of the house is remarkable. The house is so beautiful inside and out and the hosts are kind and friendly. I loved learning about the house's history. Cookies were delicious. Very courteous host and asked about our preferences and made sure we were comfortable.

We stayed in the Copper Beech Suite, which was spacious and comfortable. It has its own screened-in porch which was wonderful to sit on at all times of the day. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. And the breakfasts were very good. Highly recommended!
