Great location next to the port however the rooms are incredibly small. Literally just enough space to walk past the end of the bed so by the time you have two suitcases in there you have to climb over them to get anywhere. The window was. Sry high up in the room and did feel a tad claustrophobic. Bed comfy. Room was well serviced with hairdryer, towels, soaps, tea and coffee though. Couldn't connect to the wifi and no English channels on the tv, BBC world would have been good. Going d for a bad bit nothing more. Staff were lovely.

I became ill while on a business trip, and it really hit me while staying at the Carre Vieux Port Marseille. The staff there took great care of me, especially the lady running the breakfast room making a special drink for me on my last day there (when my symptoms had really hit me hard). They recommended a pharmacy, and a couple of local shops where I could find some things I needed. The staff made it their mission to assist me in any way they could, and I greatly appreciate their care.

Stayed here for two nights to attend a Rugby game. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Rooms were tiny with not much room for any luggage, but very clean and in a great location steps from the port!

Was for 2 days business trip in Marseille. And this hotel was my home for 2 days on Cote d'azur. Nice rooms. Good service. And what I remember is specific smell in hotel that alwasy will asociate with Marseille :) It was nice but specific!

The hotel is in a great location very close to the port, the metro station, the opera and useful small shops. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was on the small side but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. There was some occasional noise from the street but this was by no means a problem. Breakfast was good with a varied choice. Recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights pre-cruise and it was total worth it. You could reach every place very easily. Room was nice with everything you can expect and with coffee and tea making facilities. We had breakfast in one of the boulangeries nearby.

This is a simple hotel in a great location. You could not find a better located hotel, (other than the one next door...) as it is about 50 metres from the water and almost ontop of the Vieux Port metro station. The hotel room we booked was very small and the window was not easily accessible. It seems like the room was washed with bleach when we arrived as we had to air the room out. The bed wasn't great and there was a lot of noise under foot from the floor above (level 5). Housekeeping was reluctant to provide shower gel refills (even when asked specifically, we still only got either a cake of soap or shampoo). But staff were friendly and the place was clean. Recommended if you are not planning to be in the room but you want a simple, cheap, easy and very well located base.

The rooms are small but clean. There is a coffeepot with complimentary tea and coffee which is a nice touch. . There is an elevator which is great and the staff speaks English which is very helpful! The location is great, just one block off the wharf and in old town and there are restaurants and bakeries right next door. The Charles de Galle parking garage is one short block away. All in all a great stay.

Rooms were adequate, but small. Bathrooms so small you can't sit on the loo properly and the shower splashes everything in the bathroom. But the location is great for exploring and the rates reasonable. You're not going to spend much time in the room, other than sleeping, so we enjoyed our stay there.

This is the 2nd time in just over a year that we have stayed at this hotel and we can NOT fault it. Its location is perfect, right where you want to be. Most places are within walking distance, including the pannier, and vallon de auffes (a lovely little fishing village) as well as the train station. The hotel is right on the first block on the port and has easy access to all the tourist hotspots. There are many transport links from the hotel, local busses, a small road train, and a metro station. The staff are all very fluently multi lingual, and are very friendly. They are willing to help with whatever needs you have. The hotel is very clean, and our room was visited every day for cleaning, remaking of the bed and fresh towels. There are tea and coffee making facilities available too. The room has a tv, with many channels, one of which a view from a camera facing the port, allowing you to see whats happening. It is surrounded by shops and eateries, including a lovely little cafe next door for sandwiches, baguettes and pastries. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Thank you for a perfect stay!
