Near the port but secluded this converted mansion home offers a restful spot with all the amenities The rooms are quiet and modern . Staff very accommodating and helpful. A definite repeat for business or pleasure
Very cute boutique hotel in the centre of Marseille. We drove to the hotel from the train station and found it very difficult to navigate to the hotel itself-the car entrance is virtually unmarked on a winding side street. Service was friendly and efficient. Rooms were spacious, appointed with modern amenities, and we adored the view of the water and rooftops.
My husband and I stayed here for two-nights. We took a taxi from the train station. It was about a 10 minute ride. We walked into the lovely garden oasis to the front desk. You wouldn’t even know you were in the busy city of Marseille. The staff was so friendly and provided us a map of Marseille and some recommendations of places to go see and how best to get there. They had fruit infused water and meringues to enjoy at check in. Once checked in the lady at the front desk escorted us to our room. Our room was so beautiful, modern, and spacious! It was on the 3rd floor. We had two large windows that opened up to our nice sized balcony. We had a lovely view of the Notre Dam Cathedral. The bathroom was a beautiful walk-through bathroom - toilette room was separate. The toiletries were all Hermes. Very top notch! We were able to make use of the Turkish spa two times. It was private and relaxing. We also enjoyed some drinks at the bar. I had a couple champagne cocktails and a glass of champagne. One of the nights we had drinks on the patio, they set out some complimentary appetizers for those who order alcoholic drinks. I thought that was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning. It is pricey but there is so much food and so much selection! They even had bottled fresh pressed juices and homemade apple sauce. It was unfortunate that we could only do breakfast once during our stay. The hotel staff was always so friendly and helpful. They created a list of restaurant recommendations for us and called to make reservations. They also followed up with us to see how our dinners went. The lobby and stair area is just gorgeous. Decorated with beautiful chandeliers. Everything about this boutique hotel was top notch. I would love to come stay here again!
This hotel is the best! Very close to the 'vieux port', great staff (Julien, merci pour le bon acceuil), great setting, wonderful bar lady who makes a mean cocktail! We booked via Hotel Tonight and when we arrived, they gave us an upgrade! A spacious wonderful beautiful room with a fantastic bathroom (that shower was amazing) We will be back!!!
We had no expectations about Marseile and were delighted with what we found thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Concierge Romain. The hotel is lovely and rooms wonderful, modern, affordable. We wanted to live there! Romain went out of his way to help us with arrangement for days after we left the hotel which we could never have done without him. Perfect way to spend time in this great city
We only spent one night at the end of our Provence vacation at this hotel, but would happily have spent more. Intimate, quiet, chic and modernist in design, it is a great little boutique hotel, with terrific service and a location that's close to the action at the harbor but just far enough outside of it to feel like a quiet refuge. Definitely a great pick if your travels are taking you to Marseille. They also have a nice spa on the lower level of which we did not partake because our stay was limited. The only thing missing here is a restaurant (they do offer a basic breakfast for an extra charge), but there are probably hundreds of them within walking distance and we enjoyed their lovely bar for pre-dinner cocktails.
First of all we have to thank all the staff who were all very friendly and helpful, all of which made our stay very good. The entrance by reception does leave you wondering but as soon as you go into the courtyard and see the wonderful bar, dining room and stairs you know you have found a gem. We had a classic room which was spacious, well decorated and furnished to a high standard. The small pool and jaccuzzi was welcome after walking around Marseille in the heat. The hotel is a well positioned, five minute walk down to the Old Port although more like 10 minutes walking back up! A good find and highly recommended.
Like all the other reviewers are saying: 1. Great location! 2. Spotless 3. Quiet 4. Affordable 5. Not too big of a hotel, nice size with a modern feel. 6. Awesome service from the check-in/out guys. Julien in particular was on point with anything we asked him about food, activities, taxis, where to go etc. The shower was the biggest shower anywhere in Europe I have ever stayed and I've stayed at a LOT of European hotels. I attached a picture but it doesn't do it justice. The room was super clean and quiet and bed was comfortable. Easy walking distance to the old marina where this a lot of action happening. Definitely would recommend C2 to stay at in Marseille!
Chic oasis in Marseille. Modern, quiet, spotless. Julien at the front desk was so helpful in arranging taxis and providing suggestions on where to go and what to see. If you're going to Marseille, this is the place to stay!
We stayed at the beautiful C2 Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel itself is perfectly located being only 3 blocks from the old port. With being a few blocks away from the old port, we did not hear noise from the port and the numerous restaurants that surround the port. Our check-in was friendly and efficient. We were allowed to get into our room even though we had arrived ahead of the check-in time. The room was very clean and nothing in the room was over-looked. The room had an Nespresso machine. The hotel's staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.... a very elegant hotel!
