Very good place to stay 👍👍👍👍 Clean, nice and quiet plenty of green gardens great pool for a nice swim. Very secure staff very helpful a nice restaurant for a nice meal but it only opens in the high season.
We spent a week together in a three bed apartment that had plenty of space for us all. The resort was a very beautiful and the pools were great fun. The only reason I have not given the Village 5 stars is that we had problems were cleaners wouldn't come and reception didn't deliver certain items we required. The staff were great a special mention to a young Lady called Iqram who was always happy to help. Iqram booked all our excursions and was always happy to help get us a taxi to get us to where ever we needed to. I would certainly recommend this Village would be better with more breakfast options. Thank you for the great experience.
i was accommodated at the Palmeraie village for the UCLGA Climate change meeting. i arrived late in the evening....the 4 bedroom apartment was very dark when you go in. it had all the necessary amenities. One remarkable let down was that there was no internet access at all. One had to walk to the reception which is quite a distance to get internet access. The restaurant is quite far as i was in the E block. On the first night i got lost as there was no one to show me where the restaurant was located. i got lost every evening trying to locate the E block. Even the driver got lost. The place looks "haunted" at night as it is tooooo dark and too many trees around. very "spooky place" The receptionists never answers the phone when you call. The guys at the restaurant were very pleasant though Food was ok but could have had more varieties
We have spent 5 days in this resort, we were very pleased with our specious apartment with a lovely terrace, beautiful scenery and a big swimming pool nearby. We have rented a car so the distance from the city centre was not an issue. The whole experience was nevertheless shadowed by a horrible customer service we have received from the members of the staff. We have been notoriously forgotten by the cleaning staff and ignored by the reception when we asked for someone to bring us toiletries and towels. However, the worst experience has happened to us on the third day. While we were out for a swim, someone has broken into our apartment and stole our money, my mums sentimental watch and my diamond ring. While the loss of our property was painful, the most upsetting and distressing part was the reaction of the hotel staff - very defensive, unhelpful and dismissive. One of the receptionists has even suggested we made up the whole story. We had to contact the police ourselves and had to spend the whole day giving our testimonies, letting the police investigate our apartment and take the finger prints. According to them, the only person that could've done it was a member of staff. Unfortunately, we did not have time left in Morocco to follow up the investigation, so the case is still unresolved. The whole experience made us feel really unsafe at the resort and very suspicious of any member of the staff. The place is absolutely beautiful but the lack of professionalism and the feeling of being unsafe made our stay unpleasant and, therefore, we are not recommending the Palmeraire Village.
It's very nice and calm place for Marrakech, even it's little far from the city. But perfect for relaxing and enjoying the real life of Morocco. I like it stuff very good and place is clean and good food
Very nice place. Perfect for trips in groups, business trips. The hotel is calm and quiet. People are very careful and rooms are big and pleasant. Air conditioning working well and the pool is very beautiful. Strong security services. Food is great too! A nice place to enjoy
We spend there 4 days with family . The flat was big enough for us and our 2 kids. Nice room but missing some amenities like shampoo or welcome drink , cold water, tea. I know it's a small flat but how much it will cost to put this ? Breakfast was very poor according to the breakfast I use to take when we staying at the Hotel du Golf , breakfast buffet is amazing !!! Other wise The stay was pleasant !
I attended a conference here with my partner and when we were booking our stay on the palmeraie resorts website there were several properties to chose from. We booked the village because the rooms seemed more spacious. However once we arrived we learned the village was too far from the conference center to walk, the "resorts" didn't not provide shuttle service between properties and cabs were unreliable and sometimes unwilling to take guests a relatively short trip. Furthermore the room was filthy, one towel was provided in a three bedroom apartment (there was a charge for addition towels) and there was no wifi. The front desk claimed that there was wifi at the pool/restaurant but there was none. This was not a viable option so before we even unpacked we asked to be transferred to the Palmeraie Palace which was closer to the conference center. The front desk booked us a room but informed us we would receive no refund for the 4 nights we booked with the village nor would any of what we paid be applied to our bill at the palace. Why not? Because they were separate entities. YET THEY WERE ON THE SAME WEBSITE!! So we ended up paying twice. Once we got to the palace it was lovely, but the villages were a dump with poor customer service, cleanliness and amenities.
This is a huge complex with time shares. It is located outside of the city and a good 10 minutes ride away from the Palmeraie Palace, so if you have no car you are out of luck! There are no shuttles. Taxi cabs wait for you at the reception building. A ride to the city will cost you 100 dirhams. There is a small commercial center half way between the Village and the Palace with a well appointed grocery store, and a few other stores. There is a convenience store behind the front desk but it is limited. The apartments themselves are in decent shape, some better than others! Our kitchen was well equipped. The TV was old fashioned and we had few channels in French and Arabic, but only BBC in English. The bedding was so so! The bathroom was clean and big enough. Bring your own shampoo and soap if you can as the maid service will bring you very little supplies. They did a good job though! There is a small restaurant and a pool on premises. The restaurant has a very plain menu although one night the Chef agreed to make a Tajine for all of us and it was absolutely fabulous. I must say though that the young lady at the front desk was amazing, she was fluent in French and Arabic, and I believe I heard her speak English as well. She made this place better than it actually is! Bravo! The major problem for us was the lack of WIFI. If you are on vacations it is all good, but if you are there for business as we were it make things complicated .We had to walk a long way to the reception building to get signal, and in the evenings when it gets cold, it becomes annoying!
The apartment was not very clean and one morning i stepped on a cockroach on my way into the shower. I decided to check out with 4 days left of my reservation but they refused to refund me anything. There is no internet in the apartments. They do have a very bad connection in the reception that you can use if can get it to work. I had to guess the ip range my self since the DHCP was not working at all.
