Lovely hotel, good for young families. Nice poolside area. Close to local amenities such as jemma el fnaa and just around the corner from menara mall. Breakfast was nice, similar items each day but didnt mind. Pay no more then 20/30 dirhams for a taxi to the square.
I stayed for 3 nights at room 405. Room, space wise, was ok BUT it was dirty (dust all over, even on the doors you could write from the dust), while checking out I mentioned that to the reception and they reply was that it was due to the long weekend and the fact that they were so busy. Breakfast was very poor and there was luck of service. The only good thing is the location of the hotel, very close to Menara Mall and very close by taxi on the Medina and Jardin Majorelle
Myself and a friend stayed there for 4 nights. We were not sure what to expect as the reviews are a bit of a mixed bag. We found a brilliant building with a lot of Moroccan features, a nice room, a brilliant pool, fantastic food, lovely staff and a great location. Would definitely stay there again
We only stayed one night which was arranged through our tour company. It was the end of our tour so we were pretty exhausted. Great view out the terrace window but was a little noisy facing the street. Great pool which is probably the highlight. A fair walk to the Madina in the heat. We ended up moving closer to the Madina and Souks as we wanted spend time in a traditional Riad and more time exploring on foot. The pictures of the hotel are honest so look at those as a guide.
This is the hotel our Tucan & Normadic tour group use to begin and end of our tour. Up to western standard but not much person to person interaction when compare with much smaller Riads. Decent breakfast with traditional Moroccan style with some basic western items. There is a lady will cook omelette or Moroccan pan cake as requested. Front desk staffs can do exchange for you and also will break up your 'big value notes' if requested. The 2 elevators are quite small, only can hold 3 persons with luggage. If your room is further from the Wi-Fi modem, the signal will be weaker weak.
Stayed here 4 or 5 nights while on walking trip. Generally fine...a few issues such as missing aircon controllers, partially blocked sink, etc., but staff quickly resolved these. Very good breakfasts with omelettes made while you wait. Wifi was fine. Nice pool and within a 20 minute walk of Djemma el Fnaa Square, with taxis & horse/carriages available if required. Nearby Meara Mall has an excellent Carrefour supermarket and a range of eateries where you can watch Marrakech going about its business. Didn't eat here so nothing to say about this. Staff helpful. ATM in the foyer. Noisy nightclub as part of the complex, but they'll give you a room away from it if you request it. Would go back.
Best hotel of the trip, great pool and good food. Rooms lovely and spacious good bed and small balcony Only complaint was charged 100d £10 to print boarding pass which we had to do ourselves as guy in reception didn’t know how to !!!!
We stayed only the one night, but it was a excellent end to our Morocco trip. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. The food was nice, and the pool area relaxing. The staff were friendly and approachable, having a good understanding of English.
well we are nearing the end our 2nd stay in 3 months and this time for 11nights at this fantastic hotel ... the people the food the atmosphere the rooms everything about it we love and find amazing too ... some comments on here do NOT do it justice .. i.e. rooms outdated .. well we are in morocco and unless your paying 2400 dh a night your not going to get the ritz ... this hotel is traditional moroccan and very clean we have our room cleaned and beds made every day fresh towels if needed are given ... the food is of course moroccan (although if you ask they will cook basic foods like chips for kids etc) and why should we come to this country and expect them to cook pie n chips ?? they wouldnt expect an english hotel to change their menu for them and somebody mentioned empty tangines not good desserts and not a good breakfast well if you ask they will bring fresh tangines out sometimes it's that busy they might not have noticed so please just ask them .... the desserts are delicious home cooked cakes and biscuits a blamange type dessert which is delicious fresh oranges sliced and fruit salad too and also breakfast includes a large variety of breads cereals porridge fresh fruit juices croissants salads meats and eggs boiled fried or omelettes it's your choice of how your eggs are cooked just ask and with pancakes to die for all freshly made by 2 lovely ladies behind the counter so please when making comments about picky things like food or outdated rooms etc just remember your in morocco not london or new york and paying top prices for modern luxury your accustomed too in more wealthier less traditional countries.... this hotel is amazingly priced too i think .... the beds are very comfortable and pillows are best ive ever slept on ... the rooms are big enough to accommodate myself and 2 teenage boys although we did have an extra bed put in to stop them arguing lol ... ive heard they do adjoining rooms if need be .... the staff are absolutely amazing very helpful always smiling and try their best to accommodate your needs ... but please remember if maybe one day they don't smile at you they might be tired or just had an off day with awkward customers we all have these days so please don't judge the staff badly as 99.9% of the time you will see them smiling ... the receptionist bahija is a lovely lady who welcomed us back with a big hug and a fantastic smile gave us an amazing room with pool view and also a beautiful view of the atlas mountains too she is always pleasant and works very hard as do all the staff here well done to them all for making our time here amazing this time and in june when we came too ... the pool is cleaned every day and so refreshing in this very hot sun .... the tv has a few english speaking channels but not here to sit watching tv really and the wifi can be a bit of hit and miss when lots of people are using it BUT again like i said your on holiday not to be sitting on the internet 24/7 BUT if this is what you need the menara mall a fantastic shopping complex 5 mins walk away you can get a simcard 50 dh with 5 gig of internet on it .... if the keycard doesn't work then take it to reception they will reprogramme it for you and itl work fine ... there's also a lovely cute little dog in the hotel and it's so friendly too never heard it bark once in any stay we've had here .... taxis and horse and carts outside the hotel offer great rates to get around marrakech (although the language barrier can be a bit hectic at times we need to learn to speak french or arabic really lol ) id say this hotel is worth 5 *just for the service and the people running it we love it here and are definitely returning next year for 3/4 weeks ... i can't find one fault with this place at all .... as i said some reviews are just picky but you can try it for yourself and make your own judgements i suppose ... i personally myself HIGHLY recommend it to anyone .... in fact we are booking 3 weeks stay here next year so it's obviously not as bad as some reviews on here have made it out to be ... well done el andalous see you next year from mel and deklan and jenson 😉
I really liked the dinner on my first night, the breakfast was also pretty good. Rooms were very comfortable. Only parts I didn't like was that the wifi didn't work in the rooms (I stayed on level 2 and then 3-not working on either) and the streets were noisy/the second night there was a wedding downstairs so it was quite noisy. I stayed here as a part of a tour and got given the option to stay for another two nights, but actually chose to stay elsewhere for these reasons. Also, it's a bit far from everything. You really need to take a taxi to do anything and for meals
