Really enjoyed my stay here. We came during the off season, and during a super hot heat wave, though the staff were friendly and attentive from beginning to end. I had a free upgrade to a Junior suite through my AMEX points, and the room was gorgeously decorated, spacious and clean. I liked their toiletry products too. The bed was comfy and we had some solid night sleeps. My friend and I had an evening drink at the bar one night, and though we were the only people there, the bartender made us a lovely fruit mélange to snack on at no charge. The pool is huge and on the extremely hot day we were there (110F/43C), it was a refreshing swim and they have great lounge chairs. Food wise: we ordered room service one night - the cheeseburger was just okay, but the chicken Ceasar salad was very good. We also ordered food and drinks at the pool, and service was prompt and they made sure to keep the wine cold! Again, it was so hot, and I made sure to thank the staff for their attentiveness. My friend had spa services and she said her massage was amazing and her hair blowout looked great! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will think back fondly of my stay.

Situated just outside the walls of the medina so right in the thick of the hustle and bustle but once you step inside this exceptional hotel you're transported to a different world. A beautifully designed hotel, with stunning bedrooms, amazing fine dining restaurant FOUQUET'S, combined with a wonderful quiet and relaxed atmosphere made even better by very well trained staff that deliver true 5* service, you're even appointed your own butler. Perfect place to experience everything Marrakech has to offer

I would not recommend this hotel. We stayed here for two nights. First- the room cleaning was not up to the mark at all. The staff came to clean the room while we were at breakfast. We come back to see they are in the room cleaning, while we wait. The cleaning was sub standard. We could see some dirt by the bathroom floor and sheets were not changed. They were just refolded. Secondly, the person in charge of the towel by the pool was extremely rude. We asked for a second towel, and we get a response : "we only give one towel per person, OK?" So much for politeness and customer service. Thirdly, the breakfast options were also limited. There could definitely be more choice and more people at the counters. Not going here again. On the other hand, I am writing a review for the Movenpick Mansour. Please do read.

A group of 5 of us spent 6 nights at hotel Barriere le Naoura. We had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff, Zara, Fatima-Zara and Mohamed were kind courteous and so helpful from the moment we walked in, no task was too big for them. We stayed in 2 different riads a 3 bedroom and a 6 bedroom. Split evenly over 3 nights each. The riads are spacious and comfortable with more than enough living space and your own private pool in both. Flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making machines. The one riad actually had a bean to cup and a nespresso machine. Bose music sound system. The butler for riads Yaseen was always on call and happy to assist with any detail required. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with an lovely walk in wardrobe feature. Bathrooms are clean and good quality. House keeping us fantastic and always happy to help. How they keep the riads so clean when they are so large is beyond me. When staying in the riads you can have breakfast in your riad which was a real treat and F&B team were fantastic. Room service is great, good quality food and a wide variety of choices. Will definitely be back. The main pool is lovely as well and a great place to relax and unwind. The location is so central to many great restaurants and the medina.

Excellent service, friendly helpful staff, lovely room with balcony and pool area. A really great place to stay. Security is tight so you feel safe at all times. Close to the medina but not within the medina walls so you have the luxury of being able to spend time in both worlds. Walking distance from Jama el Fnaa. Safe walk along a well lit road for night time strolls to seek out your dinner. Restaurant has a nice but expensive lunch menu. Sit in the bar and have some cocktails in the aircon one evening. We were a group of 8 and all of us had a really lovely time. Definitely recommend.

We just came back from a really great stay at Le Naoura hotel in Marrakech. We were on a romantic and relaxing getaway without our baby girl who stayed home, and it was just the perfect place to stay. We had a fantastic spacious Junior Suite Deluxe, which offered a nice view unto the pool, a great balcony with comfy seats, two separate bathrooms (his & hers) and a walk in closet. We slept so well in the large and soft bed. We had dinner in Fouquet's one night and had a delicious meal with great service. The last night we had a quick meal in Nupha Bar where the service was impeccable and the ambiance cozy. Breakfast was something to look forward to every day; great selection of food. We were lucky to have great weather so we spent lots of time by the pool soaking up the sun on comfy sun loungers, taking a dip once in a while in the heated pool, enjoying refreshing drinks. We went out two evenings, based on recommendations of the Concierge, and both dinners were great suggestions - definitely go see them to direct you to the right places. Malika, the Reservations Manager, was most helpful. Definitely a place we would recommend. Location is great as well being in the Medina and walking distance to lots of places.

Just got back from a week in Marrakech. Stayed here. Rooms were beautiful. Food was good. Staff were great. Aircon on tap which was vital as we were hit by a heatwave as from our second day. Nothing was too much trouble. And thankfully they virtually force feed you water. No guests with heat stroke on their watch. Thank you to all the staff that tried to teach us the Moroccan language basics.....we all tried our hardest to learn :)

There were four of us in two rooms. We had the junior suites which were very, very comfortable and delightful. We were the only Americans staying in the hotel at the time. Here are the comments I collected from my traveling companions about the hotel...well managed; individualized attention to guests; anticipated our needs; always surprising the guests with unexpected, imaginative service; fun, young, energetic staff who just made you glad you stayed in the hotel; great bar and DJ who knew American blues. We had a wonderful, fun time, mainly because of the staff.

My mother has limited mobility (uses a walker or cane) so I choose hotels when we travel with an eye toward accessibility: walk-in shower and in a warm climate, pool with easy grade of steps to get into. The Junior suite here fit the bill; especially liked that it has two bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub). Comfortable beds, nice, private patio facing the pool (easy for mom to get into plus heated). Service was very friendly and helpful (just don't rely on the front desk for a crucial wakeup call). Very good breakfast buffet. Good snacks by the pool. Dinner though at the property's signature restaurant, Fouquet's, is uninspiring and overpriced. Otherwise a very comfortable, good-value and well situated place to call home while exploring Marrakech.

Nice hotel in the Marrakech medina. Easy walk to the souks and large square. We stayed 2 nights here. Service and food was just average, nothing really outstanding. One of the really annoying things was the metal detector smack dab in the entrance where someone stood and then did nothing when it went off. Then... when you went to leave, they wanted you to walk around the metal detector. Really? Use it or get rid of it; otherwise it just aggravates the guests. Would look for somewhere else next time.
