Good flat but not where you think it will be

The pin on the maps in the VRBO app is very misleading. I am not sure I would have booked it if I knew the real location. The pin stated that we were only 19 minutes walk away from Jemaa el Fnaa. When we arrived at the property Google Maps said it was a 1 hour 19 minute walk there. All wasn't lost though. The number 1 bus runs from the corner and it takes 20 minutes to get there. It is 4 MAD for a single journey in Marrakesh.When we went the last bus back is around 10pm so if you want to stay later you will need to get a taxi back.Also on the corner is a convenience shop where you can get water, milk and soft drinks.There is also an incredible boulangerie and patisserie for breakfast, bread and cakes.For a bigger shop (including alcohol) it is a 10 minute bus ride to Carrefour which is also right beside the bus stop.It was nice to get back to the flat around 2pm for a late lunch and not walk around in the scorching late afternoon heat and have a beer out of the fridge.Good spacious flat.
