The rooms were very nice however it did not have the warm homely feel like some other Riads we stayed at. It felt more like a hotel stay like any big chain hotel. The room sizes were bigger here and located very conveniently near the main square

We were looking for a Riad expecting some rough edges and we were blown away. The staff was so gracious and attentive and the best hotel experience we have ever had. On arrival to our hotel, we were promptly given tea and cookies while we discussed our plans with the manager, Antonio. He gave us an overview of the hotel and area. We were provided us with a local phone that had the hotel info and his own. Their was also a data plan on the phone for GPS and google searches. It was nice to not to worry about losing our own phone while meandering around. The hotel made dinner reservations and called a driver for us to take us to restaurants. This was very convenient in Marrakech to avoid any language barriers with a taxi especially late at night. Our dinner(Monkfish and Chicken Tanjin) at the hotel was actually better than the ones we had in New town at several highly rated restaurants. Breakfasts were great. Something we looked forward to every morning. Vegetable soup, yogurt, fruit, honey, cheese, breads, crepes and omelets every morning. Location was next to a square in the Mellah (Jewish district) in the Medina. Was close to the Bahia palace and short walk to the main square with all the souks (shops) and mosques. Location was very convenient for car picks ups and drop offs and just for people watching from the terraces on the rooftop while having evening drinks. It is is a Riad in the Medina so noise from the courtyard should be expected. Recommend highly!

Shortly after we arrived, we knew our 8 day stay would be one of our favorite trips, even being frequent international vacation travelers from New York City. Too many wonderful things to review—so, technical items first, they provided us with our OWN cell phone to carry during our stay to use for everything from reaching our to drivers set up for us, internet or calling the front desk—INVALUABLE. WiFi throughout—even on the spectacular rooftop bar, sunning area and restaurant. An amazing daily breakfast and dinners if you choose (after 8 days we realized we had 2 of our BEST meals there (Tangier and Tagines). Staff members seamlessly took over every need, knew our names and my gluten free nuisance (handled gloriously) fresh fruit beverages, olives, rose petals on our linens and organic local toiletries. Whatever you need, they provide automatically or you can ask. The host Antonio personalized our stay on arrival and throughout—his number in our phone. He gave an informative overview in the stunning courtyard by the pool to guide us through the geography of Marrakech, provided maps, listened to what experience we were looking for (dinners, excursions, guides, spas/Hammam—there is one in the Riad) what to watch out for as a tourist, assistance (if you need any of these important things). It’s like having a personal friend who lived in Marrakech. My 11yr old daughter was mesmerized by what she called being with friends. We left for 2 days to the desert and then waterfalls.
