Everything was great. The room, breakfast, front desk and housekeeping were all very good.

Good hotel. Clean and cheap rates with a nice breakfast.

This hotel is a good value for the cost. It happended to be the closest lodging available to my destination, and I had a choice of rooms when I booked the reservation only 3 days in advance. During arrival the staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions to local restraunts.

The stay was what I expected. There were a few negative things about the stay: 1. Soft water - slimy feel to your hands after washing 2. Extremely windy - stair door slammed throughout the night making me wake repeatedly.

Disgusting hotel. It smelled terrible and was dirty. We booked a two night stay and only stayed one night.

The room was remodeled and had a flatscreen tv. The hotel doesn't have any kind of funky smell or anything and the room was clean. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom - I don't know if that's common for Microtels. They'd had some kind of water mishap earlier in the day so there was a delay getting me checked into a room, so that was a bit frustrating. Overall, I think my stay there was among the worst luck you could have there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was pleasant, especially at a budget price.

checked in on thurday told them the toilet didn't work. still no toilet on sat had to leave one day early because of this. witch we had to pay for anyway. not fare at all. dirty place, breakfast wasn't even good for a rat. bad all the way around. and will not book though you folks ever again.

The staff was very friendly but this is a bare bones hotel. The pillows were basically non-existent and my body ached after sleeping in the beds. Very minimal breakfast, just bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice. I would not stay here again.

Room satisfied our needs but was very small for a suite. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and my wife and I woke up with terrible neck aches. The room at one time had some water damage and had a slight odor. The continental breakfast was not great and only had a few packaged muffins and some cereal. The staff was very friendly though and you get what you pay for.

I found this hotel to be nothing more than a roadside motel wrapped up inside a nice exterior package. Outside of hotel looks like any other microtel but I found the hotel to be dirty and it smelled like smoke in my room even though Iowa has a smokefree air act in place and all rooms are supposed to be none smoking.I found found that this motel didn't have an actual breakfast even though they advertise a "go and Joe" breakfast. I guess I should have read about that more closely. I meanm come on who seriously wants to eat out of a vending machine for breakfast because thats basically what it was. they had a coffee machine and juice machine and that was it! Everything else was out of a vending machine. I was not IMPRESSED and probably will never stay there again. otherwise location was good. I liked being close to highway.

Returned to the area near where I grew up for a high school reunion. Needed an inexpensive place to call 'home' for a few days. This location was handy for me and I felt very safe coming and going anytime. Modest accommodations that perfectly answered my need. Clean room, friendly staff. Thanks!
