We were in town for a Celebration of Life and were most disappointed that daily housekeeping was not available and the lounge in the lobby was not staffed. We had several rooms with our group and several parties invited to visit with us in the lounge and there was no server available. The reason we chose to stay there is we’ve stayed in the past and were able to entertain our parties. Should have been made aware of this when room was booked. Ugh!
Everything was fine for a covid season😁 sure miss breakfast. Maybe next time

We have stayed here before, this time we had a clogged drain in the bathroom. Management had a maint man look at it and could not fix it. Would rather have been moved to another room. Room was clean but there was black mold on the shower curtain. But the shower had the best water pressure. Will stay here again.
Very nice quiet property. While it’s been maintained well, definitely starting to show it’s age.
I worked nights and slept during the day, not a good place, very noisy.
Only downside, was the room cleanliness. We had to ask for toilet paper, shampoo. Most days, it appeared all housekeeping did was make the bed.
CR Marriot is a great hotel. There are more convenient hotels for downtown, but for business or excursions from north CR, it's hard to beat. Hotel is nicely appointed, staff is friendly and welcoming, and rooms are extra-spatious. All in all, a real bargain.
Everything was very good, but the front desk did not offer a receipt upon checkout.
Great hotel stay and surprised us with a coupon for free breakfast buffet for 2 that we hadn't planned on. Highly recommend.
We moved to Wisconsin several years ago. With family in Cedar Rapids we often stay here as our home away from home. You won't be disappointed.
