We have never had a bad stay here in all the years we have been coming here, and it is a credit to Athif and his staff that they have always looked after our needs when we have called upon them for something we may have forgotten to bring with us. The re-furbished units are nice and bright and quite spacious, and can cater for large families or couples who like to stretch out and not be confined by a traditional hotel room. Heated swimming pool, or the beach close by and tennis courts if you feel that energetic. Or just a leisurely morning walk along the Bay. Good relaxation, and a stepping stone for various little hideaways in this great area of WA.. The manager told us there were big things planned for Bayview, we look forwards to it but will enjoy what it has to offer us now. Thanks for the welcome bottle of wine!
We used a groupon voucher for a weekend stay just before the school holidays in a two bed villa. Accomodation was clean, tidy though looks sparse on first impressions but has everything you need for a short stay. The wine, bottle of Solo and popcorn were a nice welcome and unusually plenty of tea, coffee and milk supplied. Location is great just outside of Busselton but within walking distance to an onsite restaurant, we tried Stilts (along the beach path about 500m away) or bakery and convenience stores. We made good use of the synthetic tennis courts, indoor pool and the beach all of which were quiet during our stay. Landscaping, peacefulness and privacy of each villa made a really relaxing stay. Really could not fault our experience, reception helpful and staff friendly, but can understand some reviews commenting on resort facilities that look tired but guess that reflects the resort midway in refurb transition e.g. the drained outdoor pool and old vacant motel buildings.
My wife and I first stayed at this location in 1970 when only the Motel existed. We have since returned many times, including taking my wife's aged parents. It was very convenient as the variety of types of accommodation would suit who we were with. However, last time we stayed it seemed tired and a bit run down. This visit I am pleased to report our faith has been restored and it is back to it's best. What makes it different as well as the variety and flexibility of the accommodation is the setting amongst mature gardens set right by the beach. There is an indoor heated pool so you can swim year round. We had dinner in our unit from the on site restaurant and were impressed with the food. Reception was efficient and friendly and we were also impressed with the way they were handling school leavers week guests who were arriving as we were leaving. As well as my wife and I our group included our two daughters with one of their partners plus our 2 year old granddaughter who loved the rabbits which came out at sunset and the visit to our unit by a local duck We will certainly be back.
Stayed for 5 nights with friends in a 3 bedroom villa that was clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. The villa had attractive, usable outside space among mature trees and plants. The beach and walking tracks are easily accessible and there is a small shopping center within easy walking distance. Could have stayed longer
We have stayed at this resort for many years and always returned home feeling relaxed and ready to go again. Nothing is ever too much trouble by all staff from top level to lowest. All facilities within our room is always clean and comfortable. Any minor problem we have encountered, and these have been minimal, have always been rectified almost immediately. The bedding is very comfortable. It is in a great location and great to return to on any day when been sightseeing etc. Cant wait to return again. We are all looking forward to the proposed upgrades.
we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was newly furbished, it was superb. Lovely outdoor area to enjoy the evening or morning. The property has a great pool area and the resort is on the beach which is perfect for families.
Stayed at this resort for 4 nights. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The bed surprisingly very comfortable! I had very good sleep here. But the aircon did make an awful lot of noise... In addition, the resort has access to a beautiful beach and has a functioning nice little pool.
Rated as poor because couldn't rate restaurant as average as it was below that. Nice units though but no pool available (under repair) except heated pool, which at time of year enclosure was too hot. VERY dissapointing breakfast so wasn't game to go to any other meals. 2nd day thought breakfast got to be better but NO!! Coffee no good either. Can still have a good stay there but don't go to the restaurant.
Driving in the resort looks quite grand. We were given a map to find our villa & there is parking however it's 'free for all' so you may have to park some ways from your villa. Once we parked our villa was hard to find at first but we got there! We stayed in 91 & it was very modern & huge especially for a 'studio villa'. It had an open lounge & bedroom which had two seater couch & 2x one seaters. It also has a wardrobe & a large queen bed which was very soft. Air con/heating which worked really well. A full kitchen which I was quite surprised at with a large fridge, stovetop & plenty of crockery & plates. Bathroom had washing machine (BYO powder), dryer, great shower & heating however our toilet did not flush well & required 2-3 flushes after every visit which was frustrating, the water pressure was either faulty or that's maybe what it's always like.... We were out & about alot so didn't annoy us enough to complain. Grounds themselves are lovely, lots of open space to play with the kiddies if you bring them (we didn't) & pathways throughout the grounds where kids rode bikes.. BBQ facilities & the outdoor pool (which we didn't try), The unused outdoor pool was an eyesore though. The resort backs onto the perfectly shallow, flat & blue Geographe bay, An ideal place for your kids to swim - we made the most of being there & swam everyday, one time we were the only people as far as my eyes could see! Leaving the best till last was the Spinnakers restaurant, We decided to try the touted $12.50 breakfast & we were SO glad we did. They give you so much bacon & the toast was already buttered using real butter (its the little things I notice). We ate every morning there as well as a few dinner. Delicious delectable food that came out quickly. A real jewel for this resort & you don't have to stay at the resort to eat at the restaurant. Lastly about a 10min walk down Bussell Hwy there is a small supermarket, bakery, chinese takeaway & a few other shops. Great value for money & most definitely recommended.
MY husband and I recently stayed along with a group of sixty seniors. The three bedroom villas were magnificent, with every facility you could want. An ensuite bathroom attached to each bedroom and a separate entry form the outside if you didn't want to come through the main living area. There is a indoor, heated swimming pool situated at the end of the property, adjacent to the beach, a putting green and tennis courts. The restaurant where we ate our evening meals was large and the food provided for the buffet meals was excellent. I thoroughly recommend this property for a couple, families and groups,j
