Excellent service, excellent staff, I won't forget the security guards very courteous, they made me feel at home and welcomed. I hope the hotel doesn't change them. I will definitely will stay again there in the future.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here for 4 nights. Never had a complaint and I was very very comfortable with the room, cleanliness, support of the staff and also safety. The most beautiful part was the view outside the room window during and after the sunset. During the sunset, I could see the beautiful sky with clouds and different colors. After the sunset, it was the city lights that you can gaze on and enjoy ur drink. If you like, you can leave the curtains open and fall asleep, in the morning you can enjoy the sunshine over the city and it was a beautiful view. The room was clean and maintained very properly. The staffs were well behaved and trained. The wifi was decent enough. But you might have to struggle connecting the wifi when you are in ground floor near the reception and then when you go back to your room. Apparently you have to "forget" the wifi and reconnect accordingly. Overall I loved the place and would definitely go back someday. Also, I recommend this place to the world.
Stayed here for a night because we need to be near The Medical city hospital where my 3yo son had dental surgery day before we checked in, to monitor him 24/7 (because he was sedated) as advised by his dentist. We couldn't afford to travel for long hours just to get home with his condition. Anyhow, what we experienced in this hotel was good but not what the rating says. These are the things provided during our stay: -Wifi provided (in room and common places except where breakfast buffet is) -Clean room with complimentary basic toiletries (soap, dental kit, and shampoos) -Towels and slippers provided -Friendly staff (very accommodating) -Good service -Provides in-room dining service at no extra charge We requested for higher floor room for a nice city view. Ambiance needs a little renovation to make it more appealing. There's an on-going construction near the lobby area. Services can be level upped too. Food served is average to the taste and expensive. A soup would cost Php200.00. Overall experience is still good.
Stayed in this hotel for a period of 3 days while in Manila. Pros 1. Rooms were ready to check in 2. Friendly Staff 3. Clean Rooms 4. Free Indoor Pool access 5. Close to mainroad and department stores Cons 1. No Health Faucet (only toilet paper available) 2. Does not have sockets to accommodate international appliances. 3. Breakfast had limited options and I ended up eating Bread and Jam for all the three days. 4. No In-room Wifi service available.
Staff are friendly, pool is nice but with this rate you can get it at nearby good hotels that offers good value for your money. With regards to buffet bfast, they only offer few selection compared to other hotels in the metro. Poor wifi connection.
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights last Oct 25 to 30t. I just wanted to try it s8nce ita near a clinic where i had a small procedure done as an overnighter but opted to make it longer because i was surprised at the rates i got and equally surprised how ample and good the hotel is considering its just beside a more known hotel. They also have an adequate and okay breakfast. The staff are attentive and room service is fast. Beddings are very good. I highly recommend this hotel if ur travelling on a budget in Ortigas area. For a quiet staycation or a just want to have a comfy stay in a not so frilly hotel...
My two friends and I checked in here last October 22, 2016. The room was clean but the air con could not be put in a low temperature. One of my friends did not sleep well because it was hot even if we had arrived at the hotel at almost midnight. Since we like browsing internet better than watching tv we searched for an internet but disappointingly the wifi was only accessible at the lobby. You need to have a deposit of P2,000 prior check in to be refundable when you check out.
Clean rooms, friendly staff. Pool a nice bonus albeit small. Good for kids though. No wifi in rooms a hassle as had to go to lobby to call Uber car and check email, and they have no tables in the lobby to set up a laptop. Sink in the bathroom is cramped as the shelf above is too close. They provide a kettle in the room but the kettle doesn't fit under the tap to fill it because the shelf is too low, so you need to use some other container to fill the kettle. We got a discounted rate online for 1867PhP. Posted rate is apparently 5,000PhP, but the room is barely worth 2,000PhP. Good value so long as you don't pay 5,000p! Don't waste extra pesos for the "breakfast included" option. Selection looked very limited so we're glad we didn't get it. Quality also lacking - they served me eggs benedict on white Wonder bread with a slice of ham that looked more like salami or some form of fried, mixed luncheon meat slice. For breakfast, walk 10-15 minutes to Pioneer Center and have breakfast (or other meals) there. Plenty of better dining options. Walking faster than taxi as traffic is heavy. Coming back, most taxis have problems finding the hotel so you'll end up paying for extra trips around the block and take twice as long or more.
This hotel is suitable for a not so picky traveller, room was clean and nice, just a bit old..Breakfast was not extravagant, although it's buffet but they only have few selections.Overall it's a decent place to stay in ortigas, affordable and clean.
We had a schedule of back2 back client meetings within ortigas for 2 days and so we decided it would be much better and less hassle to beat the traffic to check in instead. For hotels with promos under PHP 2,200 for a de luxe room with free breakfast, there are other good hotels that offer around the same range with a much better and new facility, but because this is an old hotel and likely it had some "face-lift" in the interiors, the overall experience is fairly reasonable but not enough to rate at least within or above customer expectation. The only great benefit we had is the fact that it is located near the meeting places we had and it's just a walking distance from one point to another including access to 24 hour food choices in the area where you can just walk.
