Everything at this hotel is first class. Over the past few years what was a comfortable but rather tired 5 star hotel has been transformed into a modern and efficient city centre luxury hotel. We have stayed here many times over many years but the hotel is now far better than it ever was!

The room is great, we had a Jnr suite but it was missing storage. We struggled for space in the room, the room service for breakfast was excellent but in the evening it was a little bit awkward, no glasses with the champagne for instance. Overall it’s a great hotel with lovely staff, but it could do with a few tweaks.

The staff were amazing when we arrived and Clare looked after us. Room was a brilliant size and so clean and comfortable. Well done to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was nice but would have liked more selection on the buffet. Unfortunately the screaming kids in the next room who were smashing around in the room, banging everything and making the wall shake. Why are couple put next door to people with young children?
