It was originally dated to use during the civil war. It had such a comfortable feeling yet it makes one wonder, could it be haunted? Lol. But seriously, it was such a cool experience and is located next to Main st. with all kinds of stuff to do!!

We drink coffee every morning and every night. It is a way of relaxing and unwinding. The room or Lobby does not have coffee at night. Every hotel or B&B we stayed in had hot coffee and hot chocolate in lobby over the holidays. Not here. No coffee and cookies cause they want you to eat in their fancy restaurant. And no microwave in room. No coffee pot or microwave in room. BUT I have to say the staff was nice enough to heat my treat from the local bakery in the microwave in restaurant kitchen. What would it cost to have a pot of coffee for travelers ready at check-in time. Some have traveled for hours to get there. Just saying

Rooms could have been cleaner the hotel and restaurant staff were friendly

Excellent service, staff, and the room was great. Top floor was a little warm and the heater was hard to control, but all in all it was a great and convenient place to stay.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable. Food from the restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful property with a lovely history. And we had a yummy dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Neat hotel with a nice ambience and close to downtown. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Large rooms.

We asked for early check in, they said they would call us when our room was ready. We waited in the parking lot for two hours. We saw others checking in early, so we went and asked them if our room was ready. They said it was, had been ready for a while - but no one had called us. The sink appeared cracked and there was toilet paper already in the toilet bowl.

Strange, dissapointing hotel. Looks grand from the outside, not great upon entering.

Lovely quiet comfortable room, sleek modern interiors, excellent restaurant

Hotel is nice. Room was unfortunately a handicap room. The bathroom was a little awkward. We asked to switch rooms and were told by the receptionist that the hotel was sold out, however we noticed a deserted parking lot. He probably just did not want to go through the hassle of moving us around. The staff at the restaurant were nice but slow and paid no attention to detail.

We were wrapping up a 5-week New England vacation and had never been to Concord, so we stayed overnight before returning to the Manchester airport about a half-hour away. The hotel was an easy half-mile walk to the downtown area, the dinner menu at the hotel offered half portions for some items, and the room was quite comfortable -- with quiet air conditioning that didn't wake us up during the night.

Terrific hotel in Concord. Always clean and comfortable. Great food at the restaurant is an added bonus! Excellent location.

the hotel is just about walking distance from tons of great restaurants not to mention the one right inside! everyone was so polite and helpful! the showere was huge and the hot water went on for days! lots of twoels and a fridge right in the room! we got room service breakfast and the meal was fantastic! over easy eggs and a house special baked egg dish! the potatoes were amazing, the perfect end to a great weekend!

We stayed for a family wedding in the area. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful, room was very clean and nicely done - a little larger than many of the chains, and the bathroom was especially nice. We heard that many of the politicians that come to NH for primaries stay here as it is the nicest place in the area - keep that in mind during primary season! The restaurant was quite nice - very good ambiance and the food was fantastic. Our waiter on Friday evening was one of the best I have had anywhere. They have half portions of all entrees which was also nice. We ate dinner here, had a late night snack, and breakfast one morning. All of these meals were great. Because this is a smaller hotel there is no pool, and the exercise room is small so if that is important to you just be aware. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are in the area. In addition to everything listed above the hotel just had a really nice feeling overall. Warm and welcoming. Nicely decorated for the holidays yet not overdone. Highly recommended!

The Location is perfect for anyone visiting people who may be at Concord Hospital or at the Pleasant View Retirement Community which is up the road. The Granite Restaurant has excellent food. Both Hotel & Restaurant Staff are very accommodating.

The location is terrific; right across the street from the Granary graveyard (be sure to let one of the guides walk you around; the one we had was knowledgeable and hilariously engaging) and a stone's throw from the Common. We had a brief but terrific stay.
