I had booked 7 rooms for the girls. Told booking time was 2pm, when booking in at 2.45pm was told only two rooms where ready as there had been a few late book outs. I was told we could all put our bags in the 2 rooms and if we went back later (early evening) the rooms would be ready. I explained that we had a booking in a restaurant at 6pm and all 20 of us needed to get ready. All 20 women now at the desk and a lengthy queue forming behind us it took 20 mins for them to allocate us all a room. Don't advertise check in at 2pm when you clearly can not be ready. Two of the rooms had a Burst water pipe happen while out on Saturday night which one of the ladies clothes that where on the floor of the room (clothes she was going to travel home in) where drenched and smelled of stale water.
We have recently stayed @ The Jury's Inn in Manchester City Centre which was a great location for all the bars & shopping. The hotel seemed dated and could do with a refurbishment in my opinion, rooms were small and tired. Staff were friendly @ reception, to be honest didn't really spend too much time in the hotel as we had a table booked elsewhere. I've only rated average due to the rooms.
Hotel in a good central location. Staff friendly. Parking is paid for and across the street. Room was clean but fairly small. Breakfast was good. Wide choice of food available. Bar and restaurant on site.
Decided to go to Manchester for the weekend and saw a good price at the jurys Inn. Was amazed by the room one of the nicest and cleanest I've seen. Seemed brand new! The receptist Haley was really nice and friendly and made check in and check out easy. Great location. Bar area great and staff really friendly. Not a bad word to say. Even the manager Mike took time to tell me where to go in the city which was an added plus. Would definitely stay again when I return.
In a good central location for all kinds of city break. Helpful staff throughout our three day stay. Smart clean rooms and a decent breakfast. Easy to walk to pubs and shops and the tram line is one minute away.
Arrived at the hotel about 3 pm . Reception was very Quiet. Room was a double with corner view. Worth paying a little extra for corner room. Very clean luxury feel without price tag. Worth being a Jury's reward member .
Great location, 3 mins walk from Deansgate rail station. Check in took longer than expected, 4 sets of people before us. Room very clean. We were mssing a bath towel on arrival, however we caught up with the room attendant and it was sorted straight away Cooked bfast is served as buffet, excellent food. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again and would highly recommend.
We stayed here before a visit to The Royal Exchange Theatre and the front of house team were very friendly and thoroughly professional. Our check-in was swift and easy, the nearest car park to the hotel is the Bridgewater Hall NCP (diagonal to the hotel entrance and very spacious). We stayed in room 233 and the room was well appointed and comfortable, providing us with all the amenities we required for our stay. The hotel is a short walk from the edge of the City Centre and close to the canal, there are some interesting bars locally and plenty of places to eat. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well, en suite facilities were adequate and we had opted for breakfast to be included. The food selection was a buffet style mix of cereals, fruit, pastries, cheese and cooked meats with a cooked breakfast option available too. We found the food was generally of a good standard and the service team were most helpful and again professional and efficient. The reception staff validated our parking ticket but there appeared to be an administration error in processing as we were charged the full price on our exit from the NCP car park. I would recommend the hotel for service, it's wonderful location, the breakfast selection and the facilities in the standard rooms.
Booked a standard room for 1 night's stay after a show in the o2 Ritz, really was standard. Check in was simple and the man on the desk was friendly, got to the room and was pleasantly surprised and happy with the location of the room (317) as we were tucked away next to a supply closest and no direct neighbours! There were no big bath towels so after a shower you had to dry yourself with a small towel. The pillows were rock hard, as was the mattress and the duvet was about 100 tog so it was roasting! Check out was simple and fast which was a plus. Probably wouldn't choose to stay here for more than one night but for one night just as a place to stay, its fine!
I stayed here for one night on business, and was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's location is great for both the shops and the night life in Manchester, as it is between the city centre and the canal social venues, and only 15 - 20 minutes walk from the train station. On arrival at the hotel, I anticipated having to wait to check in, as a large group had arrived just before me. However, I was booked in within five minutes, and within my room in less than ten minutes. The room was great - apparently it has recently been refurbished - and had everything I needed for a single night stay (longer staying guests may be pleased to note that an iron and ironing board is in the room as well). I had a good night's sleep, as the room was nice and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was also of a good standard. It was self service, but all the food was warm and was of decent quality - including a tasty black pudding if wanted. In summary, a really good stay, made better by all of the staff being polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
