Perfect city location for access to the city centre. Good for both business and pleasure. Great views across the city (the higher you go the better they are) good quality furniture and fittings, and very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet recommended too (though juice choices are a tad questionable). Would both recommend and stay again

The Hilton Hotel is an iconic building and as a Mancunian it's somewhere I've always wanted to stay, especially when I see how glorious it looks from the outside. Truth be told for £125 per night I expected much more (what I expected I'm unsure 🤔). I have no doubt that if I had time to use the fitness facilities I'd have marked it up to a 4. Checking in and out was pain free and the views of Manchester from our room were incredible. The food on the room service menu looked delicious despite the prices being a little on the expensive side (£7.50 for tomorrow soup) It was a last minute booking (17:30 on a Friday night) and staying over into Saturday morning. I was kind of hoping for a better deal as we literally only spent 10 hours in the room. I can see why they might charge the fee that they do. It is the Hilton after all. And it is an iconic Manchester landmark. If it do decide to stay here make sure you take advantage of the facilities and the late check out time (12 o clock).

I lived in Manchester for many years and moved to North Wales the year that the Beetham tower was built and for some reason I have never visited it, so it was the perfect choice for my birthday weekend in Manchester. We particularly wanted to visit Cloud 23 cocktail bar so my friend called prior to our visit but was told no need to book, just speak to Front of House on arrival. Once we checked in, we did just that but they couldn’t fit us in at the time requested so we had to settle for later which meant we had to rush to make our dinner reservation. I would advise to book!! We stayed in a Deluxe room at £260 per night. It was tired and dusty and there was hair in the bath that were not ours!! It didn’t include breakfast so the rate was way over what it should have been and it certainly wasn’t value for money. We visited the Exec lounge with our friends on the 23rd floor for drinks before our Cloud 23 reservation and we advised a member of staff that we had a reservation at 6.45pm and asked if we would need to take the lift all the way back to the ground floor to come all the way back up again. Of course, she very sensibly said no and that she would take us through. However, we witnessed the Maitre De reprimanding her for her initiative and customer service!!!! Totally ridiculous!!! Finally, we used the Valet facility only to find that when I drove my car in the dark on Monday morning, my automatic lights had been switched off. There was absolutely no reason why they should have been touched and it caused me quite an inconvenience to reset them. We will not be staying there again, nor will we be recommending it to anyone. There are far better hotels to stay in at much better rates.

I've always wanted to stay at the Hilton and my birthday was the perfect opportunity. We were greeted by a very friendly lady,check in was very prompt and we were even able to have our room early which was a bonus! As it was my birthday we had complimentary drinks and chocolates in the downstairs bar which was a nice touch. The room itself was of good size however, I feel it's time for a revamp as things are beginning to look very tired...The seal around the shower was missing in parts as we later discovered when a pool of water had formed on the floor.. oops. When we checked in we asked if we were able to go up to cloud23 that evening for drinks before we ventured out. Despite booking you still have to queue at a lift in the lobby like some theme park ride. Once up there the staff couldn't help you enough until your first drink arrives and then they appear to avoid you despite their being at least 10 people situated behind the bar. Really disappointing considering the price of drinks and added service charge. Overall, the stay was average and definitely not worth the cost! Not a place we will be returning in a hurry.

we stayed here on a Saturday during October...a superb , new and clean hotel ..the rooms were spacious and modern with great views over the town.....the staff were friendly and very attentive ...will come back for sure

Living in Manchester I have always wanted to stay in the Hilton as you see it everyday towering over Manchester! We decided to take the plunge and book a room! It was really nice! The view was the highlight! You could see for miles it was lovely! The bathroom was amazing! Completely spotless and had lovely anemeties! The room itself was just like any other hotel room. Very firm bed, air con, tea and coffee facilities! The room service/ breakfast was very pricey! There were a few stains on the floor and holes in the chair but that didn't bother me attall! It was a really nice stay but wouldn't stay again just because of the price! £125 for one night! That's not including breakfast! You are paying for the name Hilton and I know there are other hotels in Manchester just as nice! View was immense though!

We have stayed before at the Hilton and really enjoyed it - especially the breakfast which is always top notch, as it was on this occasion. In other areas things didn’t go so well. Check in was slow and when I explained that my husband had left a room key for me at reception, this seemed to cause a bit of a delay but strangely part of the delay did not consist of me being asked for any ID to prove I was who I said I was. We had also booked to go up to the Cloud23 bar and when you’re paying £12 for a glass of wine, you kind of expect the service to be good. We ordered a drink which hadn’t arrived after 15 minutes and as we had to leave shortly I asked one of the waitresses to check our room hadn’t been charged for it. The response was basically scepticism and unhelpfulness. I mean why would I lie about something that was so easy for them to check given that we had to sign for each drink anyway. Other than that the stay was fine but there seem to be a few things that are slipping at the Hilton based on other recent reviews. I did make the reception staff aware of the issues I’d experienced though as I’m sure others have so there isn’t really any excuse not to address them.

This is the first time me and my partner had stayed in a Hilton hotel and were both very excited. Upon arrival the overall impression was luxurious and very appealing, the receptionist was very friendly and made us feel welcome also giving us free drinks at the bar because it was my birthday. In our room there were two single beds when we specifically asked for one double, the carpet was dirty, there we’re only two towels when ideally we need 3 or 4 and part of the desk was broken with sharp wood hanging off. All in all we are disappointed in the price of the room and what we received. We payed for luxury and did not receive to our expectations. First impression was lovely but the room was not worth the price. Would love to stay in The Hilton in the future but afraid not this one.

My stayed at the HIlton Deansgate ended on a sour note after my suitcase with personal items worth more than £2,000 was stolen from the hotel lobby. The Hilton have refused to accept responsibility even after I had been told by the front of office manager that I would be compensated for my loss via their insurance. Even with the CCTV evidence (attached) the Hilton have refused to acknowledge that they have a security problem. AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY!

This is a core brand Hilton. It’s not a memorable but it is not bad either. Physically it is at the better end of their range but I am sure there are better boutique hotels at this price range You can see why their Hampton brand is so popular. 90% of the offering but 50% of the cost.
