Hotel Ok - basic - expensive for what it is.

The breakfast was paid for in advance / went down the next morning and was told I hadn’t paid for it. Some digging later I was offered a continental breakfast in the room. It what I wanted or expected. Was told the manager would call me to sort refund out for the £14 paid but never received a call.

Well presented property, great location in the centre. I’ve done 9 hotels in the past month for work and this was the most comfortable bed. The cozy room was ideal for solo travellers. Good WiFi with no messing around for business calls. Nice shower, although a bit hard to get the temperature down enough. Espresso in the room was very fresh and a very, very welcome touch. Complimentary white wine on check in was an excellent glass, and the bar looked nice but didn’t use it. Elevator has a mind of its own. Hallway was a bit noisy as my room was immediately opposite the elevator. I doubt highly there wasn’t a room upgrade available (as a higher tier Expedia member), as it was quiet and they were sending me offers, but the room I booked I was happy with. Some noise outside the window at night. On balance though overall - I stay in a lot of hotels for work, this one was excellent and would stay again.

The club I went too was a 2 minute walk away which was superb, but the bar didn’t have any redbulls or the restaurant wasn’t open for food was the only downfall

Great hotel, we were very kindly upgraded to a suite. Would return, excellent location. Local nightlife noise was an bit audible but to be expected given location.

Nice Hotel, disappointed no VIP perks were recognised by the hotel at check in when enquired said there were no upgrades available (despite a number of rooms being available to book on line). Free drinks (VIP Perks) not recognised, on the second evening enquired about it was told bar was shut a reception but to take a drink from the mini bar.....looks like i was charged for the drink i took (under query) also no breakfast delivered on the second morning. Room it self good and great location.

Adequate for short stay

The room was very small but hotel is central so you can expect this. The room was very clean, bed very soft but comfy. Shower heads in bathroom could do with a clean apart from this our stay was adequate. My daughters room next to ours was even smaller but for one night was ok. Wouldn’t want to stay longer as limited storage for clothes and bags.

The hotel is in a great location. Room was nice and bed was nice. Staff was friendly. I wonder if all rooms hear the same noise at night from the discos (they are open around midnight until 4am). Our hotel window was right above them. But, I would stay here again and ask for a different side of the hotel. Very easy access to the train station which is a key factor for me. Yes, stay here if you desire.
