Very comfortable apartment in the heart of Manchester. Needs to have the elevator fixed. That was the only problem with the property. Otherwise it is great!!

The property is next to Chinatown so plenty to see. It is close to a tram stop so the whole area is walkable but quiet at the same time. The room size was good and we had a kitchenette. The free pastries were good as well. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall would stay here again.

No lift for two weeks

We have been very loyal to Roomzzz but this stay was particularly trying. The lack of lift for our 13 day stay impacted the number of times we left our room and we stopped going down for morning coffee and pastries. We were on one of the top floors and next time will ask about the lifts before accepting a high floor room. The staff at the desk were frequently unavailable as they assisted guests using the staff lift. No offer of reduced fee. Roomzzz must pay for a better lift maintenance contract.

Manchester Trip

Staff really helpful and pleasant, room was spacious and clean - we had a room in the basement, which had no view or natural light so that was a downside. Unfortunately the floor boards were creaky but overall it’s a decent place to stay on a budget Free unlimited hot drinks and croissants in the morning was a nice touch though.

Ground floor room - quite noisy. Next to a cupboard - possibly a cleaners cupboard very loud banging and clanging early morning while trying to sleep. Strange smell in room- there was a plug in air freshener in the room so suspect this was a problem that was already known about. Not my usual experience with “rooomzz” so unfortunately would not stay here again.

A bit tired but a reasonable place to rest your he

Excellent checking experience and very friendly and competent staff. Room ok, hard mattress and bathroom a bit tired. Towels feel like they’ve been washed a thousand times. Road noise from outside not sufficiently blocked out. Overall this is a lovely little hotel that’s near many things and has excellent staff. Just needs some extra care & attention.

Excellent access to downtown Manchester!

Location was excellent with short walks to trains or trams, and a close location to museums, night life, and restaurants. Not the cleanest or in the best shape, but ok, and the staff was incredible! Very helpful and easy to work with. Good breakfast if you like coffee and croissants- the croissants were amazing!
