checked in late, around 1 a.m., and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The front desk staff was unfriendly and offered little to no customer service. My room key didn’t work properly, and each time I went back to have it fixed, the staff made it seem like a major inconvenience. After the third attempt, I requested a new room.
The lobby had a strong, unpleasant odor that made me feel nauseous, and the overall property appeared dated and poorly maintained. The carpet didn’t seem freshly vacuumed, the bathroom was only partially cleaned, and the room felt as though it hadn’t been properly prepared for a guest.
If it hadn’t been so late when I arrived, I would have canceled my stay and chosen another hotel.
