the staff was very nice, love the breakfast.. I HONESTLY CAN RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO STAY IN THE BEST WESTERN LAS MERCEDES HOTEL MANAGUA.

I have stayed at Las Mercedes for years. The key attraction is location across the highway from the Managua airport. The upgraded lobby and restaurant are a plus.

Across the street from the airport. Have stayed here several times when arriving late or leaving on an early flight. Staff is friendly. Rooms are comfy and clean. Complementary breakfast buffet schedule shows as starting at six, but coffee, baked goods, cereal, juices and fresh fruit available earlier.

Had a flight out of Managua and wanted to stay close to the airport so decided to give the recently remodeled Best Western a try. The stay pleasantly beat expectations and for the price difference compared to the nearby Camino Real, was able to buy dinner for two at the onsite restaurant for the same price. Checked in at 2pm without any problems and the free airport was a breeze. The queen size mattress was new and comfortable as well as the sheets and towels. The rain shower and hot water we’re a definite plus as well as the cable TV with many English channels. Had a relaxing afternoon swim in the pool but the gym was closed for the entire stay. However the hotel grounds are large so was able to get some exercise walking. The free breakfast had many good options as well as dinner the night before. Even though the hotel has recently been remodeled it still has the ambience of Nicaragua rather than a standard chain brand. Overall made for a great stay!

Excellent breakfast, staff is great. is clean close to down town. Staff very knowledgeable about the area. what to do where to go. etc.

I must say that when I booked my room back in November I was truly looking forward to my stay. My first experience was back 11 years ago when my girlfriend and now my wife first stayed there. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on staying there every time we go to Nicaragua. The convenience of being across the street from the airport ,the hospitality and great food is very pleasing the grounds are fabulous. To my dismay when we arrived this time I was somewhat disappointed. We received the same great hospitality and great food but was disappointed with the atmosphere. The lobby in the hotel and the restaurant area had been renovated. The place was Americanize and lost its Nicaraguan flavour. Sad to see there culture go. Was a part of a great whole missing. I guess we can call this progress. The restaurant also lost some of its flavour for they had numerous plates of different kinds of baking, fruit, and traditional food. That also has been scaled back. The grounds are spectacular along with nice comfortable rooms. Is truly awesome to walk outside in covered walk ways to go to your room., a refreshing experience. In closing thanks for the opportunity to share and once again stay at your hotel.

This motel is literally across the street from the airport. We walked across a 6 lane highway. Took the shuttle on return trip to airport. Room was clean but there was no wash cloths nor hot water. The restaurant was very good with very friendly staff. Staff at motel were friendly and check in staff spoke English There is a beautiful pool. I would not walk about hotel by myself at night. We just stayed overnight as we were on to a resort. Would recommend this hotel for convenience and cleanliness.

It is convenient close to the airport. This time my experience was not good first the person at the front desk have an attitude she changed when she saw the american passport. It was a Saturday night and the firecrackers and also the loud music until midnight kept me awake. I believe there was some kind of party going on.

Even though hotel was under repairs, service was still there. Dan

Easy access from airport and great staff. The restaurant and bar have great selections on food and drinks. The pool and atmosphere are great

Had to stay one night due to very early flight. Fairly priced and very tydi. The restaurant is very good. I would stay there again.

On site restaurant and restaurant staff were excellent, the gardens were very nice, great place to stay if you have an early flight in the morning, located across the street from airport and provide shuttle service if you need it

It's the location that makes me stay there again and again and again. It's right across the street from the airport, don't even need to use their free transfer. Rooms are too small for extended stay. Hotel El Camino Real near by is much more comfortable and almost for same price what Las Mercedes asks.

A good hotel for quick airport access but otherwise this is not a good location. This is a big sprawling one story motel style hotel.

Ok for quick access to the airport but definitely a tourist trap in pricing.

I book my arrival to managua and it was really nice. I had my girl friend and relatives waiting for me and it all was great. On my returned day I came back with same people to take me to the airport. There was a lady incharge of security who did not allow us to hang out and called the cops on us even after the hotel staff told her that everything was fine. I still will follow up with owners and fill a official complain and have that lady remove since our experiences as tourists are really turned down by these kind of people.

the first room #104 was not in the "quiet zone",...we have a baby...the noise from the A/C and the main road and the airport was too much...we had to change rooms after the first night.... the second room #62 had no water pressure or hot water for a good shower...the hand sink had mold and rot on the plumbing underneth the sink and was leaking water all over the bathroom floor....there were way too many mosquitoes in the room...

The hotel is located across the street from the airport; very convenient.

Todo estuvo bien ecepto el retraso de más de una hora para entregarme la habitación

Older hotel, but very large. I doubt the would ever run out of rooms The have two pools, one very large and one medium size. Buffet breakfast included

Km 11.5 Carretera Norte Managua
