Great 2 family Ski property
Great 4BR 2 family space. Clean, large comfortable family room, large dining table, spacious kitchen. Killer ski pad with wall boot dryer, organized racks and gear hooks galore. Right next to free transit stop to Village, Main lodge, or transfers. Group of 8 fit like a glove. Professional management right in town a few blocks away. We loved our time here over the holidays, thank you!

I contacted Mammoth Sierra Reservations to explain our situation. We are a military family who has not seen our family members (parents, siblings, nieces and nephews) in over 6 years due to being stationed overseas. We planned a family getaway to Mammoth Sierra for July 10-12. Unfortunately, my sister who is a nurse was quarantined (we were all in contact with her). We were bummed but we had purchased CSA travel insurance so we had hopes that we would at least receive a refund and can plan a trip in the future. I filled a claim on 07/01 and received a denial for the following reason “Your policy only provides benefits for specific, listed events including Quarantine, and defines Quarantine as, " . . . the enforced isolation of you or your Traveling Companion, for the purpose of preventing the spread of illness, disease or pests." I responded and submitted the quarantine documentation from the hospital. I then received a denial with the following statement “Furthermore, the Coronavirus outbreak is considered a foreseeable event under any plans purchased on or after January 29, 2020. Therefore, you could be covered if you are diagnosed with Coronavirus, but foreseeable events such as becoming quarantined due to the Coronavirus will not be covered.” Basically, CSA travel insurance tried to find any way to deny our claim. Today, I contacted Mammoth Sierra Reservations in hopes that they can assist in offering a future travel voucher. The representative told me that if I would have notified them ahead of time about our cancellation than they would possibly be able to assist in a portion of refund or future voucher. I explained that I notified them on 07/01 and received a response from one of their representatives named Sandy. Then he stated that it has been 2 weeks since our travel date and that it was too late for them to help. I explained that I just now received the final denial from CSA travel insurance and that was the reason as to why I am now contacting them. He said there was nothing they could do because they could have rented the same cabin out (which they still could have since I notified them on 07/01 and our trip was on 07/10). They can clearly see I purchased travel insurance and notified them ahead of time. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to submit all proof that a claim was submitted with all correspondences including quarantine documentation from a hospital. Could have been cleaner
We had a wonderful time but I like clean and it was a little lacking. When you open the front door the mats, rugs looked awful! The carpet upstairs was really stained and did not look nice at all. Apparently the fridge went out so we got a loaner which was great but no ice maker so that was a bummer. Everything else was pretty clean, kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were clean .

Tanaka's and Mora's family stay
We enjoyed our stay and would be interested in considering for future bookings. Suggestions: The front door locks seemed dated and were hard to use so I would suggest updating. The unit worked out for us with the 4 bedrooms and 3 baths but we were not sure of how the heating in the downstairs rooms worked and we struggled to control the temperatures. Maybe include instructions? Finally, parking was a major issue for us as the neighbors to the right when you are facing the front door parked both of their vehicles in front of their garage so we were unable to park a car in front of the unit as we would have blocked the neighbors car in.

great place to stay
it was very pleasant stay from the beginning. stocked with towels, all kitchen needs, games, etc. close from the slopes and shopping center. decent size rooms. all my family enjoyed the cabin. looking forward to coming back here soon.

Great Mammoth Ski Condo for Multiple Families
This was the perfect ski condo for our group of 10: 2 families both with 2 young kids each and another couple. Each group had their own full bathroom. Clean and large we never felt crowded. Better than pictures. Lots of games also. Kitchen well stocked. Centrally located, Just 10-15 from Mammoth skiing. We got a TON of snow and the condo area was well plowed. The only recommendation is for black out curtains for the back bedroom on the bottom floor. Will stay again!

Spacious, comfortable condo
We enjoyed our stay at this large condo with some of our extended family. After a long day of fishing, it was great coming to this cozy lodge. Condo is well stocked, and some of the family enjoyed the jacuzzi to wind down at the end of the day.

Faced one major issue; Otherwise ok
Plus:
Great location; master bedroom, kitchen and living room upstairs were spacious; very well furnished.
Minus:
Slightly cramped bedrooms downstairs; very few to no accessible power outlets at the bedrooms downstairs (was tough charging our cameras)
Major issue we faced:
We were a group of 11 and there was no hot water for everyone in the morning. Many of us had to shower in cold water in October (with temperature in the low 30s in the morning). Called the office. When the maintenance person came in the afternoon, there was hot water. He explained that the water heater capacity is very less...maybe enough for 2 people to shower. And after that, the wait is around 45 minutes for the water to be hot enough again.
For a property with a capacity of 12 people, even with proper planning around this issue, it is impossible for all to have a hot shower.
Why would one build a property with 12 people limit but with such a small water heater capacity??? Baffles me.
