Welcome to Obsidian Dreaming in Mammoth Lakes. This 4-bedroom house sleeps up to 9 and sits right on the Sierra Star Golf Course—your cozy, well-equipped home base near The Village and Eagle Lodge.



The Space:

Spread out across three levels, this warm, modern home is designed for gathering and relaxing. The middle level is the hub, with an open-concept living area featuring an electric fireplace and a large smart TV. Double doors open to a balcony with a private hot tub, built-in grill, and Adirondack seating overlooking the pines and fairways.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless appliances and island seating for 4, while the dining table seats 8 for shared meals and game nights (plus 2 more at the stylish chess table). Each bedroom includes a smart TV for easy downtime.



You’ll also have a private washer and dryer and a cold-weather gear warmer/dryer in the garage—handy after a day on the mountain. WiFi and a laptop-friendly workspace make it easy to check in with work when needed. Guests also have access to communal amenities including a gym and pool.

Important Things to Note

• Stairs: This is a three-level home; stairs are required.

• Parking: Up to 3 vehicles—2 in the garage and 1 in the driveway. Parking passes are required and will be provided inside the unit. The garage is accessed via keypad (code provided before arrival).

• WiFi: WiFi is provided; however, due to our rural mountain location and areawide infrastructure, speed and reliability can vary and are not guaranteed.

• Security: An exterior security camera is located at the front door (exterior only).

• Pets: This home is not pet friendly.

• Laundry: Private washer/dryer and a cold-weather gear warmer/dryer are available.

• Communal amenities: Access to a communal pool and gym; availability and hours may vary.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

• Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are not provided unless otherwise noted.

Location logistics: Within about 5 minutes you’ll find Mammoth Creek Park, Rotary Park, Shady Rest Park; Sierra Star Golf Course (seasonal), Town Loop Path, Eagle Lodge (Chair 15 in winter), Mammoth Rock ’n’ Bowl, Volcom Brothers Skatepark, Community Ice Rink/CRC (seasonal); shopping/dining at Minaret Village (Vons), The Village at Mammoth, and Main St/Old Mammoth Rd shops; plus the Mammoth Museum (Hayden Cabin, seasonal), Mammoth Lakes Library, and playgrounds.



Other Things to Note:

This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.
