This place was amazing. Stayed 7 days. Did not want to leave. Staff are the friendliest staff ever experienced. Over water bureau are a must. Stayed in beachfront bureau as well, very nice, but not as good.

From the moment we arrived until the second we left everything was perfect. We were welcomed by Tulia and Coco and her sunglasses as well as songs and welcome cocktails. Food is delicious and there is plenty of it. The bures are built and decorated in a pure traditional fidjian style and the staff are just super friendly. At Likuliku it felt like we could ask for anything and we would get it. For those who are not sure yet and may read this review, do not hesitate and go there, relax around the lovely pool and wait for the three meal courses for lunches and dinners before retiring in your wonderful villa whether it is a water or land one. Likuliku is definitely a place to stop by for several nights in Fiji and you will leave the place wanting to come back as soon as possible.

This is a nice resort. Very friendly staff, delicious food. But I’m not sure if it’s worth five stars and the hefty price tag. It lacks the wow factor. For starters, the place is rather dated. Probably time for a renovation. It is also not couples only (pretty sure there were a few families there). The pool is also rather small and cramped. There is also little privacy in the bures I stayed in (could actually hear my neighbours close the door and the bures are at best 10m away from one another). For the price I’m paying, I expected more.

We just returned from our honeymoon at Likuliku and it exceeded all of our expectations! Rooms: We spent 10 days split between the beach front bures and over water bures. Both were very spacious! The beachfront bure had a large, private, outdoor shower and daybed outside. The over water bure had a large tub with views of the water and amazing deck complete with comfortable loungers and stairs to the water. The beds were extremely comfortable as well! Activities: There is so much to do! Non-motorized watersports are complimentary so we kayaked and paddle boarded quite often. We also hiked to the Jonas lookout (free), and paid to do the island hopping, sunrise at honeymoon island, sunset cruise, and handline fishing. We felt all of the excursions were fairly priced for what we got! We also learned about the iguana sanctuary from the on-site staff which is very cool and had a great couples massage at the spa. Food: We consider ourselves to be "foodies" and loved the food! After reading about how you could only eat at the one restaurant at set meal-times, we were concerned we might be hungry between meals and brought snacks - we ended up leaving those all behind at the resort, uneaten because the meals are so filling! For breakfast we usually took advantage of ordering off the menu and the daily buffet (mud crab omelet was our favorite). Lunch started off will rolls (YUM) and a small snack/fruit cooler, then you were able to choose your lunch main from three options and a dessert from two options. Dinner allowed you to choose an entree, main, and dessert as well. Everything was delicious - espeically the Tuesday seafood for two and Friday evening dinner after the cocktail hour and show. We also had no issues getting a table every evening for dinner, I'd reccomend booking every night once you get there if you like to eat at a specific time or prefer strongly inside vs. outside (there are no bad tables!). In addition to the great meals, they often brought us fruit at the pool and the overwater bures get a snack delivered every day around 5pm. Weather: We had great weather in late July/early August. There were a few cloudy days but when you're in paradise that doesn't matter much. Yes, there are tides so each day the lagoon would drain at a specific time, but we just went to the pool then and enjoyed the lagoon at other times during the day. We didn't find the mosquitos to be bothersome and the repellent spray provided smelled great. Service: I think this is where Likuliku stood out the most. Every single person we interacted with learned our names and greeted us with a smile! If you had any questions, there was always someone there to help you. Other: The resort is very eco-friendly. They are a part of National Geographic's unique lodges of the world! They have their own gardens, bees for honey, iguana sanctuary, and have been helping diversify marine life in the lagoon. They also provide large filtered water jugs and reusable water bottles to all guests to cut back on plastic bottles! All in all - we cannot wait to go back!

We visited Likuliku for a weeks holiday. It is the most magical place. From the moment we set foot at the resort and were welcomed by the wonderful Manager Tulia we were made to feel so welcome. The Bures are beautifully decorated. The pool magical and there are few words that can describe how good the food is. We were in Bure 33 which was a perfect location. The resort is all about sustainability- no plastic bottles. You are given a stainless steel water bottle on arrival and each room has its own large water dispenser. You are also given your own snorkeling gear for the time you are there. A lot of the vegetables and herbs are grown on the island. Coco the gorgeous Labrador is always there for a pat - he loves carrots! The staff were so friendly and were only too happy to organise boat trips to various places of choice. Suitable for all ages - there was a large cross section of ages and nationalities. We will be back !

There is not one negative thing I can say about this resort. My fiancé and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we cannot wait to go back! From the moment we stepped onto the resort to the moment we left the staff was nothing but welcoming and accommodating. They truly make you feel like your at home. Everyone we came into contact with went above and beyond to provide us with the best hospitality possible. The resort was very relaxed and allowed for you to relax and experience what you wanted with activities available. The food was absolutely amazing! Every meal we had was finished completely. We cannot wait to go back and highly recommend this resort for a couples getaway!

I stayed here for a few nights after I spent a few days at Tokoriki Island Resort and it was the perfect combination. I spent the first night in an overwater bungalow and I was blown away by the room. I have stayed in overwater bungalows before (in bora bora and Maldives) and this may be my favorite just based on how the room is set up so you have a beautiful view from each room. I especially loved the view of the sunset over the water from the bath. I liked how the deck had stairs leading into the water (and an outdoor shower) and the snorkeling right by the bungalows was the best ever. In fact, the snorkeling by the bungalows was much better than the snorkeling excursion we paid for at the island across the way. I suggest asking for a bungalow at the end of the pontoon as the views are better and feel more private. I also really enjoyed the spa (amazing massages, but paying extra for the couples bath was a waste) and the sunset cruise was perfect. My husband and I had the cruise to ourselves and we enjoyed the appetizers and drinks. I will say, after we switched rooms and had the beach room, I wasn’t as thrilled. The room was fine, but no where near as nice as the bungalow. Finally, the food was pretty good, but we were comparing it to Tokoriki’s food and it just couldn’t compare.

After 5 perfect days on Navini Island, we transferred to Likuliku for a change of scenery. A very different vibe than Navini but equally wonderful with its own strengths. Bures here are stunningly beautiful with many authentic Fijian touches. The grounds are lush & tropical. A pool wasn't missed at Navini but here it was nice to have here. Food? Chefs Shane and Raj definitely delivered! Nearly everything we had was fabulous. Wine list had plenty of tasty options (mostly Kiwi and Aussie wines) and some solid Champagnes. Lots to do at the resort including paddle boarding, kayaks, sailing, hiking, and spa. Snorkeling was great along reef just outside overwater bures in the lagoon. Plenty of fish, coral, and shells and even spotted a large octopus. One night, we were treated to a Fijian song and dance show. On a Sunday night, choir singers from the nearby church came to sing songs (in Fijian of course) in the restaurant. Beautiful and moving. We were there with our adult children but since they don't allow children under 17, the resort seems to mostly be couples on their honeymoon or couples celebrating an anniversary. That led to a more quiet, hushed atmosphere than Navini (especially in the restaurant) which welcomes people of all ages. That's not to say Navini is loud. With only 10 bures for guests. it's pretty quiet as well. It's just at meals on Navini, you tend to sit with other guests and socialize. That doesn't happen at Likuliku. Couples pretty much keep to themselves.

Just wow! From arrival to departure absolutely everything about this resort is on point. The food is both innovative & delicious, the views are breathtaking (from every vantage point), spa treatments are genuinely heavenly and the overall vibe is the epitome of tropical serenity. If you appreciate 5 star service, tranquil overwater bungalows and/or luxury beachfront rooms with a private plunge pool (I checked out both types during my stay) then Likuliku is 100% the place for you. I adore Fiji and have traveled here many times but had 'foolishly' never visited this dreamy resort before. I'll return soon that's for sure. Tip: it's a certified Nat Geo listed luxury eco lodge which means you can feel good as a guest knowing that plenty of pro-active environmentally sustainable practices are in place. Happy days!

I don’t even know where to start. Staff- No Family treated us like they were so glad we were home. We never once were in need of anything. Burr- our home over the water was exactly like pictured and more. Beautiful South Pacific style. Right down the steps with our snorkels to see the gorgeous underwater life. We went scuba diving also and saw sharks, octopus in love, turtles and so much more. Food-yummy meals. Very traditional food with fresh vegetables and fruits. Lots of fish and all so nicely prepared. The pool is very refreshing and you will never be in need of attention as once again your family will be there to make sure your refreshments are full. And the spa has some neat treatments to try- banana leaf wrap is so wonderful. Just go, you will glad you did.
