Reminds me of Benidorm and not in a good way. The apartment is tiny for 2 adults and 2 children. The food is horrible unless you only eat chips. No late check out and the maid knocked on our door 3 times because we weren't ready to leave but then we did leave she never went back for another hour. I really wished we had not left all the goodies in our room for her.
No words can describe this wonderful resort Time and time again they achieve standards of excellence above and beyond the normal I would recommend this resort for family or anyone looking for value and quality
Stayed in Jutlandia last week and I was so dissapointed with there day time entertainment it's fine if you've small ones they have few bits going on in a room but no music beside pool or games to keep older ones amused....i was here 3 years ago and the entertainment during day brilliant....its spotless place really good pools😉 shows at night quite good...major issue with sunbeds! Had to get up really early to get one which is ridiculous on holiday...there was some days beds with towels no one appeared!!🤔 another thing was they had soccer daily at 2.30 in a corner of place with cement ground no astro turf that was lethal! Accident waiting to happen...overall nice place to stay but for the cost of it the entertainment not good enough...for that reason I wouldn't go back....theres only so much swimming they can do.
Just returned from 10 nights all inclusive fantastic pools and very friendly staff. Great entertainment from Julio and Danielle and top service from the waiter didn't catch his name. Rooms very basic and small for a family of 4. Balcony isn't private as you have other guests going up and down stairs to get to their apartments. Food and drink was good for me I'm not fussy, but we did struggle with the kids I spent a fortune on food even though all inclusive (pizza and nuggets not included in snacks) Overall we had a great time but wouldn't return not keen on Santa Ponsa as a resort.
We returned last week from Jutlandia, we stayed for 8 days and while I liked it I think ive stayed in nicer apartments in nicer areas. The staff were lovely, on our arrival went through everything and gave us rooms in a nice quiet area (starfish) we had asked for side by side but were placed 6 doors apart. I know they cant guarantee it but we did give a lot of notice so I thought a small bit of effort could have been made there. We got to apt and it was small but nice and clean everything we needed and very near the pool. We moved the camp bed into the bedroom so we could all stay together, me and hubs and son and gave us a little more room in sitting room. My son loved the pool with slides but in the afternoons there were a few rowdier children there and obvs their parents were elsewhere so they would push the smaller kids out of the way of slides. (however not for long on my watch lol) A lot of people put towels out at ridiculous o clock, im ashamed to include my sister in this group (like we are talking 5.30am one morning) so towards the end of the holiday the hotel started enforcing the no reservation until 9am rule, which should be in place at all times.....crazy! you are on hols people!!! My son loved the shows each night, some more than others, he didn't have anything to hold his attention at the dancers with the candles and pole dancing??!!! REALLY!!! but he loved the magician clown guy and loved the pirates show. (so much so we went to the pirates show in magaluf, excellent, but don't go through hotel or ticket place, book them online yourself, you will find a discount code online getting 15% off and a taxi is only €10 as opposed to €15 pp transfer! (separate review on this) The cleaners were really nice and had the beds made and clean towels every day but sometimes they did come when we were just up lol. For brekkie they do a lovely crusty bacon roll in the restaurant open from 9am and lunch the usual pizza and chips, nuggets, fish fingers kinda deal. Gets very busy at lunch so sometimes you need to go back after half hour to pick up. All in all a nice holiday, the downside for me was the surrounding area itself of Santa Ponsa i found quite tatty, although im sure somewhere i would have loved when i was 20!!! few nice restaurants i will review separately. I cant say excellent in review cause ive stayed in nicer places but all in all it was very good.
We stayed at Julandia from 22nd July for a week, best holiday we've ever had. Pools were fantastic and the kids had a ball. Staff are brilliant. We stayed self catering so can't comment on the food, but the food we bought was lovely. Great entertainment for kids and adults. Will definitely be returning next year.
Let's start with our room which was kind of bare and basic but worked as a cheap getaway. The service is simply not there. Every day had to chase the reception for extra towels as many of their towels come with stains on and have a strange smell. Did they provide the extra towels? No. In 10 days we were there we asked for extra towels 9 times and never got them.
We booked the hotel because the swimming pools looked great and it was close to local restaurants and shops. We were not disappointed. My children (3 and 6) loved the pool and we all spent over 3 hours every day swimming. The complex was very safe and was constantly being cleaned. All of the staff were very friendly and clearly proud of their hotel. The evening entertainment was family oriented and the mini disco was very cheesy - the kids loved it. We went self catering which was great because there were lots of shops nearby and a large supermarket within about 15 mins walk. At night we ate out and had some really lovely meals average cost for 2 adults + 2 kids + drinks was approximately €60. There were lots of ants outside around the hotel complex - but i wouldn't expect anything else at this time of year. We did on one occasion get invaded - but this was because we left an open bag of marshmallows in a cupboard. We removed the marshmallows and the ants disappeared. Overall this was a fantastic holiday and I would recommend this hotel to anyone with kids under 10.
arrived here on the 13/6/17 for a 10 night stay at about 2pm, check in was easy at the hotel, think its cost us 83 euros at the reception for the tourist tax, remote for tv and deposit for the safe (we got 30 euros back when we left) me, my partner and my son got booked into a 2nd floor room which we requested at the part near the water slides but was put in the block in the middle (dont know the names) if i was to come here again i would either request a ground floor or first floor and the staircase is very narrow and was hard work trying to carry a pram up most days/night with a sleeping 2 year old in it the room itself was very clean and tidy with lots of room, there was a lack of space to put clothes when we unpacked but it was not a big issue reception staff and all other staff were very friendly and helpful with towels changed and rooms cleaned every other day pool area was good lots of fun things to do with the mini waterslides and good range of inflatables in the pool that were for everyone to use also big shout out to georgie bee who was one of the pool entertainers was was really good with the kids and adults we stayed self catering at this hotel so cant really say much about the food apart from that we ate in the hotel most days and a ham and cheese toastie with chips for 3 euro 50 which we thought was good value for money would deffo stay here again it i was to return... only bad point i would say about this hotel is that if your not up early dont expect to get a decent spot near the pool if your not up early ( even some guest put them out on a night ) also some guest didnt have respect for the inflateables so eventually they got bust
Such a fun, family friendly hotel. We took our 1 year old here and it was great. This hotel is loud. Apart from between about 1am and 8am, this hotel is always loud. Children having fun in the pool all day and very loud entertainment all evening. If that bothers you or you're a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. The bedrooms are at the back so you have two sets of doors to keep the noise out which does help a lot and we all slept fine. However if you have a room right next to the speakers (as we did), it is harder to block it out than if you were at the other side (where we were moved to with no problems, on our request). We were self catering so can't comment on the food but the kitchen facilities are fine. The rooms are clean and modern (smaller than the pics look but fine) and the pool is as amazing as you'd think, albeit cold at times. Santa Ponsa itself is a nice resort and there's loads of restaurants. The beach isn't the best - not that clean, the beds are expensive and there was a horrible smell wafting over the sea. We took a bus to Palma which was very easy to do, even with a 1 year old and buggy etc. All in all, we had a great time and Jutlandia was an ideal choice for our first family holiday.
