from the start to finish we loved it .staff brilliant can't do enough for you and they all work so hard. great rooms really clean, fresh towels and sheets daily whole complex is spotless ,pool area is great Anna in the kids club is great with the kids. bar snacks tasty great family resort cant understand why its not a 5 star resort .I would not stay anywhere else but the jutlandia when in santa ponsa .
Not the best we've been to by a long shot. Booked all inclusive but not worth it. The buffet is across the road in a totally different hotel which is strange and not very good cos if you're by the pool you have to clean up, get dressed and head over the road just to get your lunch. And if you want to just eat the snacks from the bar at the hotel be ready for a big queue and only about 3 choices of food (which was rubbish). Heard a lot of people moaning about it. Apartment was basic. Noise from pool and shows comes right into the rooms as well. One night there was a massive storm, torrential rain and we got caught out on the way back to the apartment. The main pathway round the pool was so slippery that my son fell over. Luckily he didn't do any damage but really think they should have non-slip paths especially seeing as it's a family hotel. We used the beach a few times which was nice but think there must be better places to stay in Santa Ponsa.
We stayed at Jutlandia 5-12th of June. We found the hotel to be very well kept. Rooms were ideal size and well equipped. Good variety of pools. Our lad loved the kids pool & slides. Food was nice enough but would of liked a little more variety for the kids. Pool bar snacks were cooked to order we really enjoyed the burgers. Good selection of drinks and the staff are very friendly. Location of hotel is ideal in the quieter part of Santa ponsa beech which is lovely. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will return at some point.
I can't recommend the Jutlandia apartments enough. We went as a family of 4 with a 9 year old and 5 year old and also my parents who stopped in a separate apartment. The pool was great, the staff were lovely, apartments were clean and nicely decorated. Fresh towels and bedding were left daily and the apartment cleaned. The whole comples was lovely and clean. We went all inclusive and found the food to be fresh, well presented with a nice choice of foods.( not always what my kids like to eat at tea time but after a large breakfast and snacks from the bar they weren't really hungry anyway. The entertainment for the kids and adults was great. Mini disco at 8pm bingo at 9pm then different entertainment from 930pm till 1030pm. A clown at dinner by the pool and kids club.My kids loved dancing on the stage till 11.30pm when the music stopped. I can't rate Julio from the animation team enough. He was great with the kids ( and my husband 😂 ) and he works really hard. My daughter lost her favourite rabbit that's she's had since she was a baby, Julio found it after we left to come home contacted my husband and even made a video for my daughter pretending to be rabs saying she was coming home and has posted rabs home to her. He has gone above and beyond and we will be eternally grateful as my daughter was distraught. We had an amazing 10 days and will definitely return.
Spent seven nights all-inclusive here beginning of June and honestly apart from the food can't fault it, the apartments where an ideal size for myself, my girlfriend and 20 month year old little girl. The entertainment was brilliant every night and even though we were in apartment 059 which is located next to reception, the bar and the entertainment stage we didn't have an issue with noise. The pool and kids club is great and kept our little girl occupied most of the day, the pool has plenty of inflatables that people have left behind and the hotel leave out for use by everyone, the kids club although we couldn't leave our daughter with them as she had to be 3 she could still use the facility with our supervision. Now the food, the bar food you can order from the Jutlandia was loverly although a bit limited for the all inclusive (burger, hotdog, chips, onion rings and salad) any other food in the menu can be ordered but must be paid for, the drinks were good with plenty of variety for all the family and there are ice cream pots and ice lollies included in the all inclusive. But the meal time buffets which are served over the road at the sister hotel are of limited variety, myself and girlfriend where ok eating here for the seven days but any longer here I think we'd have ended up eating out. The kids choice wasn't the best and we did have to visit McDonald's on a few occasions for a happy meal. The hotel is located a 5 minute walk away from the beach which is loverly and has plenty of shops around, a bit further up the road past McDonald's is a strip of bars and if you turn right at the round about and follow it up you will come to bar code 7 which if you have young children is well worth a visit as there is plenty there to keep them entertained ( bouncy castles, mini golf, arcade machines, trampolines, pool tables and air hockey).
This hotel is fab! We were self catering family and had two adjacent rooms. The rooms were clean with bottles of water and washing up essentials left upon arrival. The air con works well and is very quiet. The staff all work extremely hard, especially the cleaners who keep the hotel very clean. The pools were great and plenty of sun bed room for all. I would definitely recommend this place
Location of the hotel is very good just a short walk to the beach . All the complex staff are first class i cannot rate them high enough cleaners ,entertainment ,bar staff ,and management all worked tirelessly with a warm smile all day to make our stay as enjoyable as possible . We stayed all inclusive and where impressed with the high quality and options of food there was something for everyone at breakfast Lunch evening meals and snack bar. The service for food snacks and drinks at poolside and poolside restaurant and evening entertainment was second to none i have never previously had table /poolside service for all inclusive ,you can of course also order at the bar where the queues where very short (unlike hotels i have stayed previously all inclusive ) Our room was very clean well maintained ,first impression was that it was a little basic, and maybe a little close to the entertainment stage, however it proved to be more than Adequate and we all slept well with bedrooms at the back Conducive to a good night sleep with quite air conditioning .
Stayed here on the 1st June for 1 week with my husband and 2 boys, 5 and 2 all inclusive. Loved it, was such a nice place. All stay very friendly, and helpful. Entertainment every night except Saturdays, kids disco hilarious, the guy that runs this and general entertainment needs a pay rise as he was amazing. Food lovely, plenty to choose from. Apartments spotless and cleaned daily. Definitely worth a visit with the family.
My wife, 3 year old daughter and myself stayed here for 7 nights recently. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was ready straight away so we could go straight in even though it was before 2. We were very apprehensive that our room was directly next to the entertainment stage and would be a very noisy holiday. How wrong were we! It was great, the bedroom was very big with 3 beds in at the back of the apartment and was very quiet. On the nights we went to bed early the noise didn't keep us up at all. Our daughter treated the stage like it was her own front garden. We could see that it would be more stressful if she was younger as we would be constantly stopping her running of the edge but for her it was perfect. She would love coming in from the pool/beach and getting showered and dressed then straight out to the stage. She had a great time playing and making friends then would love the nightly kids disco. We are still doing the dances at home. Thank you for that!!!! The pools and facilities were all very good. We spent most of our time in the little round pool as it was the perfect depth for our little girl to practise her swimming without armbands. The slides and bigger pools were good too but we didn't go in them that much. Would like them to be a little warmer maybe. The only issue we ever had was finding sunbeds and an umbrella together. There was supposedly a restriction on reserving them but by the time we got up and out there we never got where we wanted once as there seamed to be a lot of towels but no people. We went out to eat every night and found lots of nice places to eat, all within a short walk. We also went on a very good glass bottom boat ride for 2 hours. We would highly recommend Santa ponds and the Jutlandia for a family holiday.
I'm just sat taking a break from packing to come home at jutlandia so thought I'd do the review before I forget. The location is great, at the nicer end of santa ponsa and only a few minutes walk to the beach bars and shops. The rooms are fine, updated decor, stocked well for self catering big enough for us which is 2 adults, an 11 year old and 20 month old and all the paraphernalia that goes with her. You enter all rooms via the balcony and the French doors, this means your balcony/patio is open and not secure. When we arrived we were put in a ground floor apartment however due to the above of the patio doors were open my little one simply made a run for it right into the bar and near the pool,There was no way of baby proofing the area so would have to be sat inside with the doors closed. We asked to move and after a little umming and ahing we were moved up to 2nd floor and a baby gate put on the balcony. We were given the choice in the end as there are no lifts so would have to lift the pram. If you can email in advance I would and ask for a room away from the bar. All rooms look over the pool but the ones along the side of the bar have a view of the bar roof or some satellite dishes. We were self catering so can't comment on the food which on the whole is served at the sister hotel over the road. It does cause some problems though as rather than go for the buffet people stay at the bar and use the all inclusive snack menu - chips/ toasties - nugetts etc. There is no self serve so the queues become long as there aren't enough staff over the busy times. Maybe something the hotel could think about so people can get a drink. The staff work hard and are friendly if you are. You can hire bikes from reception and push chairs I believe and there's apples on offer for all guests. The kids entertainers were great and worked really hard keeping them entertained. The hotel is full and whilst there are the bed pinchers out at 7 there's always been enough beds and umbrellas. The beach is lovely and we've ended up there most days just as it was easier with our toddler as she wanted to be off walking about when not in the pool so building sand castles was a great distraction meaning we got to sit down for a bit. The beds and umbrellas were 4.50 each. There are loads of ducks in the resort which my daughter loved, especially feeding them from the sun bed. They even came and swam in the pool! We've had a lovely time, maybe wouldn't come back to the resort as just a bit busy for us but the hotel is a great base with good facilities and fabulous staff and if we did come back would stay here.
