Loved the breakfast and beds at this location. However, we were upgraded to a room where the bed and half bath were upstairs and the downstairs was a living area with desk and full bath. While the upgrade was really nice, the stairs to get up to the loft were very awkward. And after several glasses of good wine, I really had to concentrate when navigating the stairs. I would definitely stay here again.

staff all excellent. helpful, friendly, informative, and genuinely caring about the guests. room clean and spacey. plenty of light and location excellent.

Great location, excellent staff, large room, fun little touches that made it so fun to stay. You can’t go wrong with Room Mate Laura!! Barbara at the front desk is the sweetest thing! Loved it!

Convenient location, friendly staff specially Manuela she is a professional, clean and comfortable. Very recomendable hotel

Property was in a safe, convenient location to main downtown area. Lobby, dining area and room VERY clean. Very cute/hip decor in lobby and rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. We arrived early and they stored our luggage, and immediately gave us a free wifi hotspot to use the entire stay so we did not have to use cellular! Breakfast is not free, but it is very nice and if you buy the breakfast for your whole stay it costs less money. Breakfast room was clean, had a large variety of breakfast food and a small play area for children. Room was very large (like a small apartment with a kitchen) and had excellent black out shades for sleeping. Two bathrooms in room was nice, although the second bathroom had glass walls that were tinted, but you could basically see in over 4 feet high. So, that was a little odd, but the main bathroom had the shower and had a regular door and good shower with good water pressure. When windows are closed sound from street (it is located in the city) is very low. They even gave us a personal note in our room welcoming us to hotel (see photo). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything and more than we expected it to be. The suite, the location and the amenities were awesome!

Summary Cute, but for the same price we stayed in another Madrid hotel that was far better. The Good The décor was charming and unique. Easy walking distance to many historic and travel worthy sights including the palace (though at the opposite end of city center from the Prado and museums). They upsold us to a suite because it was ready early. It was very a very spacious bedroom, living area, loft, and second balcony for the price. The Bad We were disturbed by loud drunks who yelled in the streets and toppled trashcans at 4AM. Has not been maintained well since it was remodeled. The small streets were surprisingly full of car traffic and loud. Had the firmest and least comfortable bed of 3 hotels we stayed at in Spain. The shower was tiny and in disrepair.

Really liked this place, location was perfect, just off of Playa del Sol, incredibly easy to get to off the Metro. Lobby didn't make a great first impression, sort of funky modernista european with staff behind what looks like control room, but loved everything else. Bed was probably the most comfortable of all the places I stayed in Spain, room was spacious, nice bathroom, very cute balcony. Would definitely stay here again.

Good, central location. The loft room was spacious but cold, in temperature. The air con units only provided cooling, not heat. The continental breakfast was simple but satisfying. And wonderful that they had such expansive breakfast hours.

Different and unique hotel. Bigger rooms than usual for Europe. The front desk was most helpful and very friendly. Suggested great restaurants and made reservations for us. Location was great as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Street noise really wasn't a problem for us. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The bathroom had a very bad moldy smell. We paid for a deluxe room with kitchen but did not get that. Didn't realize it until the day we left that we were supposed to be in a deluxe room. So be sure to get what you pay for!

We were upgraded to a "duplex" which had a loft with an extra bed/futon and small desk upstairs. Very cool design and nice amenities. We paid $127 and that included breakfast for 2 people. Minutes from shopping, royal palace, and Santo Domingo metro station. Would stay here again and will also look for smae brand of hotels in other cities for future trips.
