We booked a room for 2 adults and a kid. Beside that to bring the luggage into the hotel after a long trip is a challenge and no help, we checked in to discover a double bed room so small that would have been impossible to add a bed which was notified via Booking.com. I can’t still believe that personnel did not mention a word during check in!!!! They have changed the room, but anyway very very small. Sorry but 155 Euro + 16 euro per person breakfast is not a cheap price. Ok Hotel is new but space is important. First and Last time. Ps this is my first negative review on Trip Advisor

We were in Madrid for two nights and wanted to be handy to the station. This hotel is perfect, being just across the road, although when we arrived at the station we left by the wrong exit and had a bit of a walk around. It’s also close to a good choice of restaurants, and only one block from Retiro Park. The room was clean and modern with a very nice bathroom. We had a refrigerator, electric jug and coffee machine. Our standard room at the end of the corridor was not large, but spacious enough, with comfortable twin beds. Reception staff were very helpful with directions to places to eat and a nearby supermarket.

This hotel is at just the perfect location for sightseeing and enjoying historic Madrid and the major museums. The room, though small {Think dorm room} was well-organized, very clean, quiet and comfortable. I felt safe in the hotel and in the area. Convenient to public transportation and restaurants. If I am fortunate enough to return to Madrid I would stay here again.

Clean and friendly hotel ideal if you are connecting by rail. Arrived by plane and caught the airport shuttle directly to the rail terminal and the hotel is within sight of the station. Cross the road and you are off to wherever on the train. Quite some sights to entertain you if you linger for a day or so.

Room was small, they called it a double room, but the bed was maximum 140 wide, it was ok as I was traveling alone. Bathroom was fine. Minibar prices ok. Couldn’t get a beer (or anything else) in the bar/restaurant before 20:30, and I had a colleague waiting for me while changing and no chance of getting anything before the restaurant opened.. You can hear the street, so if you are a light sleeper you might have a challenge.

Location is perfect. In the center with lots of nice places to eat, drink and visit around the hotel. Rooms are fine, very clean, Maybe a little small but to sleep alone they are fine. Friendly staff and breakfast was very good. If I go to Madrid again I will definitely take this hotel again.

Love the location right across street from train/express airport bus stop. For me this is great as I don't have to lug a suitcase around uneven sidewalks, etc. As a walker all sites I wanted to see were within walking distance, Prado, Mayor plaza, royal palace and cathedral plus others. For a non walker may not be ideal. Beds were comfy. The window blinds are a nice touch in keeping the room dark. Room not to that big but functional. Although at end of hall and around corner could still noisy late arrivers. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't purchase the bed & breakfast. All front desk staff I dealt with were very professional and helpful.

I stood in NH Madrid Atocha on a business trip. The location of the hotel is excellent when traveling by train. 3 minutes walk from AVE train to the hotel door. 1 minute walk from the hotel door to Atocha Metro station. You can come to Madrid on a morning train, drop your luggage at the hotel, and continue to meetings - and same thing on the day when you leave. NH Atocha's reception desk staff are friendly. The welcoming smile on Mrs. A's face was great, And she understood my special request for a quiet room that is not on the street side. You don't get this great welcome experience in every business hotel. I got a 5th floor room that looked to the inside court. The room was not big, but it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The bed was ok and wifi works. The breakfast room is relatively small too. But size does not matter. The breakfast was very nice, similar good food as in other NH restaurants. A great experience in NH Madrid Atocha. It is easy to recommend this hotel.

It is close to Renfe Atocha estacion. Arrived by Train and need to catch flight the next day, this is the best stop over hotel. No need to get a taxi/metro/bus. The next day just cross the road, get the aeropuerto bus for 5 euros, in 45 min-1hr you will be in T4 international. Room a bit on a small size but clean.

We stayed in NH Madrid Atocha having flown into Madrid and taking the train to Seville the next morning . Ideal hotel for our purpose being across the road from Atocha Railway station .... compact clean comfortable room with a comfortable beds plus modern bathroom . Good double glazing made the room surprisingly quiet from the busy road The breakfast was delightful! Plenty of options beautifully presented in their small breakfast room . Recommended for travel in Madrid and suited our need well
