Effective hotel, nice little bar with good variety of food selection in entrance area. Noise from street but friendly staff found a room higher up.Good breakfast. Gym needs improvement. Location close to Attocha train station.

The staff was very efficient and friendly, always greeting you and offering help. Next to the check in desk is a refreshments area with candy and welcome drink. The showers were nice with both a fancy large shower head above and a movable one. The mini bar is fully stocked. Good sized television. Located adjacent to the Museum of Anthropology, you’re also next to the Atocha station (elevator to the station is just outside the entrance) and a very close walk to the Prado, botanical garden, (15 to 20 minutes) and Reina Sofia (10 minutes). It’s also close to a Museo de Jamon if you need a snack.

Concierge was great, beds were comfortable, shower was very nice, and the WiFi worked flawlessly. The 2-minute walk to the train station was very convenient, and 3 great museums within walking distance fit our needs.

We traveled through Madrid from Sevilla to catch an early morning flight to Paris and found this hotel to be perfectly located for our needs. On previous trips we had stayed out by the airport but then you are really isolated unless you take a taxi into the city. The Atocha is not only easily accessed from the rail station but it is central to good restaurants, one last museum visit to any of the several in the area, or just a delightful walk in Parque Retiro. The hotel is comfortable, remarkably quiet given its location, and clean. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. A good choice for us ...

We were delayed on our trip to Sevilla and just happened upon this hotel. The staff was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding! If you need a hotel convenient to the Atocha train station then look no further.

We booked a room for 2 adults and a kid. Beside that to bring the luggage into the hotel after a long trip is a challenge and no help, we checked in to discover a double bed room so small that would have been impossible to add a bed which was notified via Booking.com. I can’t still believe that personnel did not mention a word during check in!!!! They have changed the room, but anyway very very small. Sorry but 155 Euro + 16 euro per person breakfast is not a cheap price. Ok Hotel is new but space is important. First and Last time. Ps this is my first negative review on Trip Advisor

We were in Madrid for two nights and wanted to be handy to the station. This hotel is perfect, being just across the road, although when we arrived at the station we left by the wrong exit and had a bit of a walk around. It’s also close to a good choice of restaurants, and only one block from Retiro Park. The room was clean and modern with a very nice bathroom. We had a refrigerator, electric jug and coffee machine. Our standard room at the end of the corridor was not large, but spacious enough, with comfortable twin beds. Reception staff were very helpful with directions to places to eat and a nearby supermarket.

This hotel is at just the perfect location for sightseeing and enjoying historic Madrid and the major museums. The room, though small {Think dorm room} was well-organized, very clean, quiet and comfortable. I felt safe in the hotel and in the area. Convenient to public transportation and restaurants. If I am fortunate enough to return to Madrid I would stay here again.

Clean and friendly hotel ideal if you are connecting by rail. Arrived by plane and caught the airport shuttle directly to the rail terminal and the hotel is within sight of the station. Cross the road and you are off to wherever on the train. Quite some sights to entertain you if you linger for a day or so.

Room was small, they called it a double room, but the bed was maximum 140 wide, it was ok as I was traveling alone. Bathroom was fine. Minibar prices ok. Couldn’t get a beer (or anything else) in the bar/restaurant before 20:30, and I had a colleague waiting for me while changing and no chance of getting anything before the restaurant opened.. You can hear the street, so if you are a light sleeper you might have a challenge.
