I stayed in Hotel Meninas for a couple days, I must say that this is one of the best hotels in town, great location & GREAT STAFF! Room has good size, beds are so comfortable and bathroom its quite big. Highly recommend it!!
I love this small hotel, theEEE best location!!!!!!! I am literally 5 min away from the Palace! Good vegan vegetarian place to eat next door from the hotel front door supermarket 3 doors down ;)and burger king 5 doors down. The hotel is very quiet, super clean and the staff at the front is very friendly and super accommodating. My room even in pm they came in to pick up like turn down time! Room has the area to secure lock with valuables, mini bar ,refrigerator, hair dryer all that anyone needs. My room is super cute comfortable bed!! Amazing hotel for a great price and waking distance to the main tourist attractions. I really enjoyed staying here !!!!! Highly recommend this place for everyone!!
Not sure where the 4 stars come from, but didn't feel like it at this stay. The first expression in the lobby was right away a little shaggy and suspicious. A basic hotel where it starts to show some age and worning out, neglecting certain things. Simple maintenance things that aren't taken care of. Like in our bathroom, the showerhead and handles were hanging by a thread from the wall and cealing, same as the small mirror next to the sink. The bathroom was also freezing. There was no heating or AC. Like walking in to a fridge. The rooms are on the smaller scale, especially the smallest room type is really small for two persons with luggage. I think my bed was broken, because it was leaning a bit to the other side. My wife's bed was fine. But the room and sheets were clean, it had a safe and a small fridge and toilet amenities, so those were on the positive side. Staff was very helpful in every query we had. Special thanks to Alex. Breakfast was 9,50 euros a person, but was not so special we had read from other reviews. Coffee is instant coffee, not fresh, very small selection of fruits, salad, eggs and sausage, toast, cereal, some pastry. As basic as it gets. Usually we pick a good hotel in our journeys, but this one was a let down and didn't leave a very positive memory. But if you are looking a mid range, mid priced basic hotel with good location to metro and shopping, this is a ok option for that.
Very friendly hotel, impeccable comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Very nice breakfast as well. I felt very at home here. If I ever get the chance to come back to Spain, or Madrid in general, I would definitely come back here
PERFECT hotel, very central in Madrid and super quiet for the location. Clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, and amazing staff and service! Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the city, and very close to the Opera House. I would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here with my college during a study abroad program, and I would definitely return here again. The staff were very friendly and understanding with my limited Spanish. The rooms were very clean and well kept.
Beautiful hotel, very clean and bright pretty rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the food is very good as well. Good location right in the center of many shops and restaurants, also on a quiet pretty street.
very modern hotel in a great location. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful even though you’re in the heart of Madrid. Service is great and helpful and the breakfast is delicious. You’re within walking distance from a lot of beautiful locations and near the metro. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed there for 4 nights, the hotel’s location is perfect in the city center with good transportation network; also, the hotel’s staff are very helpful. I asked them to leave my luggage for couple of hours after my return from Seville before going to the airport as it would be very hard to move around with them and they accepted immediately.
This classic building has been transformed into a hip boutique hotel. The word "cute" is the best I can do to describe it. It's right next to the Opera metro station, walking distance to the Gran Via, the Palacio Real, Puerta del Sol, and Calle Princesa. The room was small, but not uncomfortable - either way, if you're visiting Madrid for leisure, you shouldn't be spending much time in your room by door OR by night. Definitely a stupendous bang for your buck.
