Stayed 3 nights, very nice hotel and reception. Clean rooms, with big bath tube. Big beds, and a very nicely working WiFi connection. Air conditioning on every room. The restaurant looks very nice but the serving is not the best. Very rich breakfast and the coffee is simply great. Overall good hotel in the city business area, not so close to the city center, but easily reachable in 15 minute taxi drive. Close enough to Ifema Madrid. Nice experience.
Stay here on a short break bit outside city can get bus then metro ..breakfast good room nice clean all you need really .nice pool but was a bit cold .nothing around the area.commercial car needed . Bar nice some good selection of whiskey etc all in all would stay again if I had car
The room we stayed in needs a little improvement . It was clean but the carpet has stained all over and the water doesn't run out as you showered. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. They were fluent in English which was a plus. We stayed for two nights and three of us shared one room for one price. The bed was clean and comfortable alone with sofa bed. They don't have wash clothes and facial tissues. They provide refreshments in the room which you will be charged after at the end of your stay. They have a beautiful restaurant and breakfast which is included, which is awesome. They have a pool and beautiful seating outside. They provide underground parking. It's close to the airport and 40 minutes to central downtown. It is convenient to commute if you don't drive. The bus is 5mins away from the hotel. We used both bus and train to get downtown. I would stay again if the repairs are done!
I have used this hotel a fair amount over the last couple of years and while it was a Novotel, it maintained the standards associated with that brand. While not exactly a luxury destination hotel, it was a perfectly serviceable business travellers' facility and not outrageously expensive. SInce the purchase by Exe, things have distinctly declined - the condition of the rooms is worse, routine maintenance appears to be being skipped, the grounds are less attractive, catering has gone off the boil and staff levels have declined. Clearly Exe is repositioning the property into a different niche, which is fine, but they have already lost my company's business.
Nice hotel for our one night stay in Madrid. It is very business oriented, but we thought it offered great value for money. We stayed there for one night and we did have a nice time there. They do have a very decent car park, spacious room, comfortable mattress/sheets and they accepted four of us in the same room which is a big plus (2 adults + 2x 3 year-old). Would definitely go again if the rate were around the 60s.
Exe Madrid Norte is great value for your money especially during the pool season: there's a big outdoor pool that's 2 m deep in one end, allowing for even more athletic swimmers to practice their turns. The hotel restaurant seemed good value for your money, offering a separate kid's menu for 8 EUR. The room was great, a big bed, a big bathroom, with lots of small bottles of shampoo and body lotion. There are great parking facilities, and this is indeed rather a hotel for the rental car people than for public transportation people: there's a bus stop nearby, but public transportation all in all is not the most convenient to get from this location. The hotel is close to the airport, but the ride takes long stretches on highways anyways, bringing taxi costs from the airport close to those travelling to the city centre. Uber missed the driveway to the hotel from the road on two occasions, driving around for extra ten minutes to get there.
We were well received. Free underground parking space. Hotel near the M40. Bus to the city center not far. Lovely restaurants (Ginos - VIP's - Wok) : 10 min by foot. Taxi to the city centre and back to the hotel for 38 euro. Breakfast was good. The sofabed for the kids was rather small and the mattress was not that comfortable. The carpet in the room needed to be cleaned. Nice big bathroom.
Stayed with my husband and two kids 15 and 10. We stayed in a family room which was really a room for two...very small. No decent storage for our clothes. As we were staying for 6 nights room should have been bigger. Staff in the Hotel especially in the Restaurant were excellent. Very friendly and helpfull. Food is also excellent. Just a word to Management. Could you have some cards printed with directions to Hotel that could be given to guests when checking in? A few times we got taxi back to hotel from Madrid Centre and not one taxi man knew where the Hotel was and unfortunately we dont speak Spanish. Overall we enjoyed our holiday. Madrid is a wonderful City😊
I stayed here for one night and was definitely satisfied. The staff is polite and helpful, food in the restaurant is delicious and at a reasonable price. It is located only two train stops from the airport. I would recommend it.
For a 4 stars hotel and the photos on the web it was very disappointing... the reception is nice with the bar in the middle of the space and nice furnitures. The staff didn't told me little things like "breakfast time", "checkout time", etc... just get me the ID card and gave me the "keycard" and said to go to the floor X. The room it was very noisy from outside, the windows doesn't cut the noise, the bathroom was in a bad shape, needs maintenance and the bath tub didn't drain the water. The room wall needs maintenance. The good part: comfortable bed (not the sofa!!!), parking and location.
