I stayed here with my husband and 2 children (14 & 12) from 1st-5th January. As soon as we walked in the door we were blown away with the lovely decor. Our room was on The Level (610) and was a great size, with fridge, coffee maker, and an array of toiletries. The room was spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfy, it was an effort getting up in the morning! The quality of food and drinks were wonderful, and it was a real boon having a lovely breakfast before a day’s sightseeing, and great being able to come back for some drinks and snacks in the evening. We found the location of the hotel ideal. Not too far away from the sights, and no traffic noise. The Hop-on Hop-off bus stops just around the corner. We bought our tickets from the main reception, which saved us a lot of time. I want to say a big thank you to all of the staff for their big smiles and friendliness, especially Sara and Juan at The Level, who looked after us well. This was our first time in Madrid, and we are going to return again in the summer, and Melia Madrid Serrano will definitely be our choice.

The best things about this hotel are location and breakfast, very close to great shops The worse things are the rooms, small and old fashion, they need a renovation urgently Service was good and the hotel gym smalll but good enough

Recently refurbished hotel, large open lobby bar, spacious, modern rooms, very comfortable beds, wooden floors, huge showers. The Level Service has an outdoor terrace. Huge variety of food for breakfast in the main restaurant. Friendly professional staff. Great central location. The Melia Madrid Serrano ticks all my boxes, including very moderate price range.

Located in the heart of Salamamca, it offers clean and soacious rooms. Breakfast is simply great, mixing local sweet cakes and cookies. Service is good and you can reach the most intetesting shopping area in 5 min

Our first visit to Madrid and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Great staff, courteous and always helpful, and a very nice neighborhood. When we arrived, we were sent to the seventh floor for check-in. When we got the the seventh floor, we entered a section called “The Level.” Being our first stay we were not sure if we were on the right place, We were immediately checked in, and also told about the amenities available. Snacks and appetizers, drinks, all complimentary! We spent quite some time during our stay at the seventh floor! The Metro station is only a few blocks away, for those of you who like to ride the subway, otherwise there are taxis always stopped at the hotel for your convenience. The breakfast on the main floor was quite good! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again! We definitely recommend it!

I like the location, they have a good service, I did enjoy the breakfast well the in general is good we have dinner the firts nigth at the hotel because we got there lake and they do give us a great experience, I will go back any time

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel during business visit in Madrid. Nice atmosphere in lobby, very good brekfasts with variety of choices of fruit, juices, omlets etc and excellent esspresso from coffee machine :) Clean and tidy room with lots of space. Staff is also very kind and bar is open late into the night :) The location of hotel is at walking distance for most of the shops, but take a taxi to a city centre or enjoy 45 minutes walk :) Definitly recommended place to stay during visit in Madrid!

I've got free upgrade and had chance to experience "Level" room in Melia. Very good sleep, very clean and very well equipped. Breakfast in renovated restaurant was extremely good. Definitely I'll use it again my next visit of this area of Madrid.

Our Visit was for 7 nights at the end of Octover and early November. We stayed in a corner suite which has a seperate sitting area that converts into a bed. That ended up being perfect when our daughter unexpectedly joined us at the last minute on our trip. It was a trip for my wifes birthday, and even though I did not tell this to the hotel, there was a hand written note and pastries in the room on her birthday. We had access to the "Level Lounge" where there were complimentary food and beverage, newspapers, television, concierge, and rooftop lounge area. The quality of the food and drink was beyond my expectations and added significantly to the pleasure of the stay. All of our interaction with the hotel staff were very pleasant. It was one of the best hotel stays overall that we have enjoyed.

Located centrally and in a very nice area of Madrid. The lobby is very active and social. Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. Great breakfast. Appears to be a mix of both tourist and business clientele, which was a nice mix. Rooms were modern - ours faced an internal courtyard - no view.
