Stayed there for 4 days for a business trip. Food is amazing and staff very helful. Room is good , internet was a bit weak sometimes, maybe number of users. Staff were very responsive, i had an issue in the room and it was delt with in 5 mins and resolved. Very close to the airport, but a bit far from the city centre.
We stayed two nights here as we were leaving Spain after walking on the Camino thinking it would be a great location for an early AM flight but were pleasantly surprised that since there is a metro station just a block away in 15 minutes we could be anywhere downtown. The staff and service was VERY good from front desk to housekeeping to the on time efficient shuttle to the airport. Although the room was small, it was very clean and size didn't matter because of the convenience to the downtown sights we spent little time in the room but went touring several times a day. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with lots of options and variety. Just a great place to stay! Will book here again next time we're in Madrid!
Good hotel to spend a night previous to your flight. Fast check in process, clean rooms and the restaurants nearby are open until midnight. Rooms size is european standard. Not a problem if you're staying one night. Shuttle to the airport is free. You need to reserve your space on it the day before. Plan to spend 15-20 minutes on the road before reaching terminal 4 (last stop).
This hotel had a calm efficiency that was most welcome after a stressful travel day. The shuttle to the airport is very convenient and free. I would allow an hour longer than you expect to be at the airport, allowing for the inefficiency of the airport itself. It was convenient to have dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the pool was welcome, although very cold.
The hotel offers a nice buffet breakfast, but my purse was stolen in the hotel restaurant while my husband was sitting at the table! I got up for a cup of coffee and my purse was on the table--one guy bumped my husband and distracted him while the other took the small purse with my credit cards, money, drivers license, etc. The thieves where wearing suits and were initially staked out in the lobby, they left quickly so we were unable to follow them. The hotel needs better security. Not a nice way to start a three week vacation. (Fortunately my passport was in my money belt to not a total loss.)
First off, I laughed when I saw the photo of the pool. It's no bigger than a bathtub. The hotel has some good bits and some awful. It's clean & modern, the wifi works well and you can open the window. Breakfast was good, but the evening meal was dreadful. Happily there's a reasonable restaurant right next door. The rooms are OK, but the walls are paper thin. You'd hear every sound from the rooms around you but they're drowned out by the noise of the busy road next to the hotel. Beware of rooms on the ground floor. Some look onto the pavement so you'll get no privacy whatsoever. I really wouldn't recommend it.
I stayed 1 night here before flight. The staff were friendly and professional. Hotel was clean and had everything I required. The dinner selection was limited though fine, breakfast buffet was good. I had trouble getting an airport pick up because we had to phone on arrival and my phone would not connect though the drop off next day was smooth. It is a bonus having a complimentary shuttle. The hotel is very good value.
We had a flight and needed to stay over for a night. So we chose this place to stay and I have to say that it was really good. Specially Roberto was very kind and had a outstanding service. Transfer for free from the airport to the hotel. Just 5 min drive. The hotel is close to a metro station and you are in 20 min in the city center, for less than 2 euros. Stay over? Stay here!
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel- the interior design is nice and stylish , the breakfast was tasty and the room was clean and comfortable. I'd like to note that after experiencing a terrible attitude in one of Iceland's hotels a night before that place was like a heaven-sent oasis where we could feel welcome and respected! What a great staff at the lobby: always respectful, helpful and caring! Great experience
The NH Barajas is situated near the Airport of Madrid. Rooms renovated in new NH design, but on the smaller side. Still quite despite the motorway nearby A few Restaurants in the Area. The only point to mention as an NH Gold member I haven't got an upgraded room. Receptionist told me he is fully booked. In the times on online booking I looked it up and there were all categories available for the night, which was slightly disappointing service.
