Nice apartment in convenient area

The apartment is very nice. quiet and looks just like the pictures. The location is walk-able to most sites. The metro in Sol is easy to use and you can get anywhere from there. There is lots of shopping near by, including the Cortes Ingles for groceries. The apartment could use a few more kitchen tools - measuring cups, sharp knives and bathroom towel racks/hooks. The kitchen window needs a covering so you aren't looking into the kitchen in the unit across the way. There is light outside the main bedroom window that shines in the bedroom all night - it would be nice to have a darker curtain or some way to seal around the existing curtain so the light doesn't come in and keep you awake. It was very difficult to get a hold of the management. We had a short window to get the check in information before we lost internet access at the hotel we stayed at before going to Madrid and it was hard to get the manager to send us the check in information. After we got to the apartment we sent the manager some questions about the TV, but never got a response back.
