The resort upon entering is hidden away and was not what we expected because the way getting there was crowded and small. But upon getting there, it was a charming, old Spanish-type resort. You could tell the age, but it was very well-maintained and contributes to its charm. There's a small beachfront, with lounges and a walking path towards the sea. The atmosphere at night was romantic and very relaxing. Breakfast was good, but don't miss the french toast (everyone was coming back for seconds and thirds, including me!). Well worth the drive. :)

beautiful natural setting, big rooms, nice people, great food

Beautiful hotel but the pier beach area doesn’t look like you can swim in it. Sucks because the resort next door you can see all the people on the beach and it looks fun. Our water would turn off and on so that sucked and out TV remote wasn’t working which was inconvenient. They have a free shuttle to the malls in cebu City but you’re on your own when you need to return which was about $10 in Us via Grab. The views were great if you have a high floored room and it’s super kid friendly. The pool was nice but my kids said the slide was too fast. The food is decent too at the main restaurant as I didn’t try the other restaurants.

Had a great time staying at this hotel! Good times 👍

This is an old delapatated run down hotel that is up to 5 times pricier than Resorts in the same area. The food and drinks prices are absolutely ridiculous at 5 times the normal price with tiny portions. The rooms stink of septic smell and are worn and outdated with the constant sound of construction all around all sides of the hotel 6 days a week from the crack of dawn till nightfall. There is no real beach at all. It is a man mad and is actually a cement enclosed septic tank that is almost always low tide and turns into a garbage filled pit of floating trash. The place is very far from any stores and nightlife and it charges a commission to call a Grab or Taxi to go anywhere. The breakfast buffet is always messy and dirty and the food is cold and not fresh. Spend your hard earned money at a more modern well appointed place.

Nice and Clean Hotel. Staffs are very friendly and always helpful! The food was good and most of all, my kids really enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at higher rated hotels in the same area for twice as much money and for the price you can’t beat Costabella the breakfast buffet is excellent and the dinner menu has something for everyone this is the third time we have stayed here and am sure we will be back in the future

Stayed here 3 years ago, during noisy construction, disgruntled pool staff. Charge upon charge upon charge for accommodations requested. Room was moved. Showers are a design nightmare. Where do they teach bathroom tile work in the Philippines? Jollibee? This time, needed to cancel my trip 3 MONTHS ahead of time. Requested a refund and promised I would return there, as I travel the Philippines often. NOPE...even with Orbitz Pilipino staff negotiating...hotel refund request was denied. That's fine. I don't care about your no-refund policy. Keep the money. I'll never book there again....but I will with other nearby non-affiliated hotels. Not the brightest business-savvy individuals. plenty of other better spots now to chose from. Also, This hotel discourages tipping. The workers are paid very, very, very little. I tipped them heavily anyway during my last visit. As for Qatar Airways, they are excellent and had no problem negotiating a fair compromise for a later itinerary. Sooo...when I return to the Philippines this December AND next year, guess where I will NOT be having my wedding?

We were a group of 6 with 2 children and found Costabella an ideal stop after our flight from the US. The swimming pools and ocean were pleasant and well supervised by pool attendants which provided a secure atmosphere for the kids. Day passes were available and nice for family visiting from Cebu City. The staff is very well trained and pleasant, courteous and attentive w/o exception. Our stay was very pleasant and found the staff very helpful and accommodating.

Very happy with my reservations; the staff were great and are very helpful; only exception was that some staff were very strict when our visitors came to visit us and I told them that I'm paying and no need to rush and be unfriendly and rough.

Nice locatoin ! exelent service ,but one problem my friend visyt me and security say my friend can not come to my room ,or after 1 hour pay 1100 peso ,after tallk with service ,my friend can stay antill 10 Pm .nice beach ,can swim in ocean !

This was my first trip outside my country I do not want to say that I am a worrisome person but I like all things in order when on vacation so I can relax and enjoy and the staff at the Costabella made me feel right at home. Their sense of confidence in their facility and amenities made me and my guests feel confident we were in good hands. The facility and conditions reflect a first class hotel. I will definitely recommend to family land friends .and book myself the next time I visit the Philippines.

It was a pleasant experience. I only wished the beach was nicer. It was, in my opinion, not swim-able. It looked like it had algae.

Always try a spend a few days here when in cebu this is the third time I have stayed and they always are improving the place and the staff is excellent

Great stay in Costabella Hotel. Only wished that the smoking area should have been outside the building.

The good news the hotel and pools were very nice. The staff was polite. Bad news the beach was clean and comfortable chairs but the water was dirty. Breakfast was expensive & coffee horrible

Beach ok..very little sand in water..watch out for sea urchins..breakfast buffet good..nothing special..WiFi terrible!!! Cannot connect anywhere..nice and secluded but not many dining options...bring your own water..soda..snacks for the room...fair enough but overpriced

The resort was beautiful and its own private beach. Lots of amenities. Will be staying here again when I visit Cebu in the future.

We stayed here for two nights and our experience was great! Such a distress from a long weekend though the outgoing flight was delayed for 5hours. We had fun and absolutely enjoyed snorkling at the beach. It had exceeded my expectations especially having a Costa King sized bed. It was just amazing. If you are to ask me if I will come back here, my response is I sure will!

Dear Lana, What a compliment! Thank you for choosing Costabella and for appreciating every detail that we have put in, along with the way we have kept the place, to ensure a pleasurable stay for our guests. The panoramic view of the ocean can be breathtaking at The Boardwalk and oh if you are there early enough to see the sunrise-- that is priceless! And the French Toast at breakfast is an all time favorite. Glad you love it too. We cannot wait to have you back again soon! Sincerely, Your Costabella Family

Dear Lah, Thank you for spending your family holiday in Costabella. It is nice to know that you enjoyed the comforts of our rooms and the fact that it is child friendly. Allow us to look into your concerns and discuss it with our Housekeeping Manager. Swimming can be a lot fun in our beach particularly during high tide. Our beach attendants diligently scours the area to keep it clean everyday, which a lot of our guests are quite satisfied with. Your 5 out 5 rating means a lot to us and we all look forward to having you back again. Sincerely, Your Costabella Family

Dear Dave, We appreciate that you stayed with us three years ago although it is sad that we fell short of your expectation. You matter to us and it would have been of great help had we known about your concern much earlier. We have various types of room offering a different rate per category. You may have been under a Book & Buy arrangement if you were denied a refund by our online partner. We had so many refreshing changes since then that you may want to experience. Should you have a change of heart, a warm welcome will be waiting for you here. Sincerely,
