Very strange motel. Motorcycle parked in lobby, folding bed being used by someone watching television and couch with sleeping child. Car with loud music parked at lobby entrance. Horrible experience overall!!

Well this is the WORST hotel experience yet. Mind you all hotel rooms in this city have been booked for a few months because of the family day at Truman State. We checked in at 5:00pm. The front desk had mess all over. They are renovating the lobby with paint cans all over. We get to our room on the 3rd floor(no elevator)and I opened the door. Oh my God. The bed was not made, there were used towels all over the floor. I called the front desk and asked if someone could clean the room. The one desk clerk comes and strips the beds and picked up the dirty towels. It is now 7:12 and it still looks the same. We just came back to but as some coffee in the refrigerator. I have visions of getting back after the game and still looking the same. Came back at 11pm still no shetts or towels. Very unhappy.

This place should be shut down. Room smelled of mold. Breakfast was not restocked. Mold growing in the air conditioner. If it had not been prepaid I would have walked

Stayed 2 nights with my family. Was in town to visit daughter. Only stayed here because they took dogs.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is date and somewhat run down. Breakfast choices were quite limited.

Our room was on the 1st floor, which I requested however, we were on the end so there was a lot of noise from the road and the floor above us.

Noisy location, and doors can be heard slamming....no elevator in 3 story motel, bummer

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a refrigerator. Continental breakfast was lacking a bit.

My friends and I drove up to Kirksville for a blues festival and checked in around 4. The guy at the desk was very friendly, inquriing about our trip, turns out he was a swing dancer for Truman State. Helped us get a phone # for a cab, went over amentities, and directed us to our room. It was a peaceful night and we had no problems. Room was pretty average.

Nothing above and beyond. Breakfast was lacking. No fresh fruit or pastries. Room was fine. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. People in room above us were very noisy most of the night.

clean, quiet, courteous staff Nice loaction, off and on to highway

Everything about the place was as cheap as you can get. Every light fixture, every piece of furniture, the bed, the towels, all of it was the cheapest grade possible. The room looked pretty clean. But the funky smells in the halls, made me wonder. The free breakfast area was below ground level, hardly welcoming. We decided not to eat or drink anything. I'll definitely stay somewhere/anywhere else next time.

People were friendly and helpful. The room was a good value at the price. Breakfast was average and the cleanliness of the room was fair.

Checking in and out was easy. However, we had to get new key cards three times because they would not work on either side door or our room. The first time the woman at the counter was snotty and said you know you shouldn't keep the key cards next to a cell phone becuase it will wipe the data, but I'm not saying that you did that. We had two seperate key cards and neither one worked, my husband had his in his wallet and mine was kept in my wallet in my purse no where near a cell phone. I did not appreciate her attitude. My say was 4 nights/3 days. We checked in on a Thursday night and our room was not cleaned until sometime Saturday. Also, whoever finally cleaned our room stole beverages out of the refrigerator and then left the empty bottles hiding behind the refrigerator. I was beyond shocked that the staff would steal things and then leave the evidence just laying around. Talk about an invasion of privacy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This experience has soured me from ever wanting to stay at this hotel chain again.

Compared to prices paid at other national chains I am completely satisfied with my experience. The parking can be a little limited later in the evening but nothing to discourage someone from staying here. The location isn't as close to 'downtown' as others but it's still within a few miles and it's as close to campus as any other.

Overall, this is a very good value. The room was clean and had a nice fridge and a strong wireless internet signal. The only negative I found was that there was more noise from the hallway and stairwell than I expected but it wasn't terrible.

We found the staff to be "too busy" to take care of customers. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and the night help made so much noise through out the night that we did not get a good night sleep.
